You also need to know the offset. If they have too much offset, then the backspacing will be too deep and you'll hit your struts.

Yeah, I didn't know what the width and offset was so I only confirmed the height...that's providing the width and offest are not of issue. From what I can see in the picture, the wheels are not too wide and the offest seems to be a pretty standard OEM fit.

True, but it is hard to tell.
Now, on a less technical note...Do you really want these terrible looking rims on your car? Chrome is terrible on an MR2, IMHO. Go with a good set of lightweight wheels. Rota's are inexpensive, and the Torque series has a ridiculous number of size/offset combinations. But those aren't the only ones that will fit. |

guys..all good advice. Ive been searching for a month now for a set of rims 16-17" with decent tires for 300-500. A set in the 5X114.3 size is pretty hard to find. Im acutally going to pass on these, they didnt say in the ad but one tire has a giant bubble so forget it. Anyways, thanks for some good feedback and I'll try to find another set

16" or 17" for $300-500 is going to be a little hard - if they're new. New, you can probably pick up a set of Rota's for under $1000, possibly under $800. I don't know the exact prices.
But if you buy used rims, INSPECT EVERY SQUARE MILLIMETER before you buy them. |

But you can always get the '93 wheels, they're usually for sale at that price (w/ tires). ![]() |

Dont get those ones, they wont look good with the 205/60 sizing. Too much tread in my opinion

Honda's use little 4 lug hubs. Kind of like those little toy cars that kids sit in and drive around.
At least the Probe uses a real 5 lug hub. Actually, the hubs on our cars are just a copy of the Ford 4.5" 5 lug pattern. |
