Red face may be in over my head

Ok. so the guy that was gonna put my engine in i just learned tonight does horrible work and i don't have the $ to take it to a shop and have it done so i need alot of help and info from you guys. Alright. I'm gonna lay out all the info that i have and want to see what you guys think (also if you need anymore info just post and i'll try to answer it).
I have a 1991 turbo. bought it about a month ago. it already had an oil leak but it made it home and drove for about a week before it lost all power and when i crank it i have to hold my foot on the gas to maintain 1k rpms. also it had an exhaust leak (did the motor blow or is this something else).
Any way i ordered a 2nd gen 3sgte to replace my motor it's a swap thing so it includes:
ENGINE, 5 SPEED TRANSMISSION, ENGINE WIRING, ECU, MAP SENSOR, BRACKETS, AC COMPRESSOR, POWER STEERING, ALTERNATOR, STARTER, CLUTCH, FLYWHEEL, PRESSURE PLATE, THROTTLE BODY, DISTRIBUTOR
with 45k miles on it.
I've done normal stuff on cars like tune-ups, oil changes, brake jobs, and accessory belts. and an alternator. but that's about it.
What tools would i need to do this? I figured that it would be pretty easy to just leave the stuff together and pull one engine/ trans out and drop the new one in. Do i need to change anything else because its the japanese engine? Is there a like step by step guide to doing this anywhere? I'm a little afraid to tackle this.
I live in huntsville,al so if there is anyone in the area on here that would be willing to help that would be awesome too. Thanks for all your input.

My Google Map

So you ordered a 3rd gen,if it's a map not an afm. and the swap is as simple as motor to motor pull. just for emissions keep your exhaust and ecu.

it says 91-91 jdm motor. so it is 2nd gen right? and emissions don't matter al doesn't have inspections.

MR2 MOD PROJECT
here you go that should make life esaier. you need tall jacks stands, a engine crane, and some dollies, and a good jack.
also double cheek its a gen3 or not gen3 have map sensors (or post up some pics of that engine.). as for emissions what state are you in?
the swap in the link is of a newer (gen3) but its basicly the thing.
