I'll start by introducing myself. I'm ay. I am a nuclear mechanic in the navy. I have been comming to this site for about a year finally decided to register.
Anyways, I currently have a 91 t-Bo with the second gen. My plan is to keep the second gen block, but build a third gen head for it. I'm planning on using a the third gen exauhst and intake manifolds. I want to do all the work myself, not have a machine shop build my project for me. have have a few questions about part compatibility. Does anyone know if the third gen head will bolt on to the 2nd gen block? If no, how much work would have to be done? Will my stock turbo bolt on to a third gen manifold? (I'm planning on doing this in stages) Is the throttle body port on the manifold the same? Any info/advice would be really helpful. Just don't tell me to read the 3rd gen differences page. I am looking for definite answers. |
