na->2nd gen vs na->3rd gen (wiring)

hey
i found a few good threads on na->2nd gen swaps for the wiring.

my issue is im going 91na->3rd gen.
is the body wiring for na->2nd gen the same as body wiring needed for na-> 3rd gen?

im looking to use the berk adapter harness, and if theres only basic wiring for other stuff, i'd like to do that.

if not, i may just get a 91t turbo harness and i can still just use the berk harness adapter with no body harness modifying right?

That's just silly if you've already got all the Gen3 parts including the ECU. The correct way to do it would be to wire it up correctly so that you can use the Gen3 ECU & Gen3 sensors.

The Berk adapter is used for people that want to run a Gen3 ECU on Gen2 motors. You cannot use the Berk adapter harness on a Gen3 motor.

thread from other folks that have done NA to Gen3 3SGTE:

And a thread from a NA to Gen2 3SGTE:

Lots of good info here too under the "Gen3 3SGTE Stuff" dropdown menu:
