mr2 swap gen2 to gen3 (st205)
ok,i'm not really good in english but i need some help for a swap project.
here in quebec,it hard to found some gen3 engine for mr2 but the jap guy sell some cheap st205 engine and older.I will buy the one with the a2w ic (st205) but i read that i need a gen3 computer from a mr2 to running my ps,it is true.ok and i have a 1992 JDM mr2 with 3sgte, will all the bracket that i need to swap to the st205 engine will work.sorry if this question asked but i have try the search buttom and find nothing. it is bolt on swap.I read with that engine i will able to make 330 hp on race fuel......what the most on pump gaz.yes alot of question lol. thanks Last edited by maxracer1; 08-17-2010 at 01:53 AM.. |

not sure for all your questions..
the gen3 motor was rated at i believe 245 in stock form on pump gas. when it comes to the actual swap go to the "show off" forum and look at the thread "joining the 3rd gen club" thread. They are doing a 2nd gen to 3rd gen swap as well and are currently at the stage where the they have the new motor in the car just not wired yet. they might be able to point you in the right direction. |
