Lightbulb rev3 tranny to rev2 motor possible?

would a:
rev3 3SGTE tranny with viscous (driveshafts have ABS transducer rings )

fit a:
rev2 3SGTE motor (this car has ABS aswell)

I hope the ABS sensors are the same for both...

Also, Im sure they are the same but, are the knuckles the same too? I have a set of rebuild rev3 knuckles with ABS sensors i want to use. (rev2 bearings are worn)

Lastly, anyone have a trick to removing the ABS transducer rings from the driveshafts? Those things took me like an hour to swap using a giant puller tool to get off, and using a torch to reinstall...

Thanks for any help/ideas!

Yeah, it'll be fine... There essentially no difference (besides minor piddly things) between the tranny's....

I like knowing those piddily things! I think i heard that the gear ratio was different? ANyway, I had "gut" feeling that it would work.

The car was bought recently and it has all blown CV boots and there is grease everywhere! Instead of getting more driveshafts for this non-LSD tranny, I figure I would just get a rev3 tranny with driveshafts.

Ummm I might be wrong, but as far as I know, even the gear ratio's were the same. IIRC, there is no real difference between what was used with the REV 3 engines vs the late REV 2's... Some of the internal parts changed between the early and late REV 2's but AFAIK, the there were no significant (if any) changes with the release of the REV 3 engines...
