VA saftey inspection

Will I pass inspection if I have removed the cats? I was thinking of buying K.O.'s B-pipe with cat to the stock muffler. Already have K.O. Dp (not on the car) engine is out for transmition upgrade. I have never tried to have the car inspected other than when running stock.

Don't think so. I got by without the secondary cat, but I have my primary cat and EGR.

Most people who go cat-less keep their primary cat/stock dp and just swap them in on inspection day.

Edit: I thought you were in VA. I don't know how OH emissions compares with VA, but I know I can't go cat-less in VA due to strict emissions laws.

Thanks, the car is registered in VA. I have to pass dyno test in OH otherwise I would just register it here. Sounds like I should put the stock cat back on and register it in OH then switch Dp after I pass.
