Need a trusted shop for a clutch.

My brother needs to get his clutch done on his mk2 non turbo. Any suggestions of shops in the area who will do a good job for a decent price?

So far he's gotten quotes of 1100 and 1200. I think it's a little out there, but I'm a vw guy, so I've got nothing to base it off of.

I live in the mt. airy/new market area 21770. He is up in philly with his car, but he comes home often. Really anything within a good hour is what he's looking for. Unless you may have any suggestions in the philly area.

Welcome to Road & Track MotorSport: Audi, BMW, Mercedes and other European, Classics specialists

Guy's name is Sonny. Good thing is he's experienced and cheap with mr2's. Bad thing is he prefers you to get your own parts and takes a week.

I've had experience with 2 md shops. My good experience was with P3 Performance, although they specialize in Mazdas. They also work with cp-e (custom performance engineering) who are also awesome. Btw, P3 just got the world record for building the fastest Mazdaspeed3 right now at over 400whp. The guys are all cool as **** too.

The bad experience was with Infinite Speed & Performance in Beltsville. Basically ended up costing me a grand later to fix what they should have done right the first time. Avoid them please!!

So P3 probably can't help you, but just stay away from ISP!!!!
