Any old timers from MN still here?

It seems the boards have changed a little since I last visited.

1.5 years ago I sold my '91 white turbo and I used to regularly visit mr2oc.com.. Back then there was an MN section so most of you won't know me I think. I've been thinking about getting in the MR2 scene again soon, anyone still hanging around these boards from back then?

I'll check back soon...

Ahh hey there. Last I heard from you Gairloch you were still building your MR2 up after purchasing it, with Mike (Erioshi).

Judging by your sig, looks like you've got it in pretty good order now?

And how's Mike.. I actually went up to brainard one day and rode with him in his Evo, does he still have his mr2?

mike has the red one which is in a million pieces and awaiting a 1mz swap. He had a black one for a while that he did a season of time trials in and actually collected a few medals.

My car has actually been out of commission for a while now with busted piston rings and a turned bearing. I am actually in the process of rebuilding a 1mz to go into mine also

Are you in the area still or have you managed to escape MN?

I'm still in the area.. I live in St. Paul. And actually, I'm here for good, there's no escaping this wintery hell-hole for me because I finally got a real job with the city here.

Yeah, I was looking at that, looks like a ton of fun.. I highly doubt I'll have a 2 by then though. If there is something in MN I'll swing by to say hi but unless I can bring my own car I probably won't be heading out that far unless I can partake in the fun

As to what I'm doing, in October I got hired by St Paul as a police officer, completed the academy and started on the streets in January. Now I'm just living the dream

WTT/FS: V6 swaped 1993 Toyota MR2

This is one of the cleanest swaps I've ever seen. He's done a marvelous job with this car.
