MOA and 694/494 loop

I have not gotten my car running yet and once i do i will need to save up for insurance and tabs. Once all that is said and done I would like to have a meet at MOA with all the local DEUCE owners....i guess Celicas are welcome because my boy owns one and the rare 3sgte Camry's are welcome as well.

I would like to meet up at the MOA have 30-45 min of chill time to talk with eachother and then hit the highway. I hear it takes about 3 hours to do the entire loop. After the loop we could meet up at the bar and have a few.
This is still in the planning stages of things but I am sure that once it gets closer to the date (which we dont have yet) things will pick up.

What do you guys say?

I am also a member of 6gc.net(6th gen celicas) and i have tossed this idea at them too. Most of them are up for it.

I'm up for it if my car is running then. I bet we can come up with a more entertaining drive than the loop though.

For sure. I don't get stupid on public roads when there's anyone else around. I don't like the idea of putting people at risk without their consent.

I was just reading through this and thought that this statement makes a great "That's what she said!" comeback... lol, I'm immature...

Yeah but you're the one that took a running engine out of the Toyota and gutted the rest of it to make it do things the creators didn't intend

Meh - the clutch & suspension were shot anyway. Along with the steering rack, suspension bushings, ball joints, tie-rod ends and just about everything else on the car. All part of bringing it back.

Besides, doing unnatural things with cars is fun!

I keep suffering from this strange urge to buy an old Lotus Esprit & stuff a Honda K20 into it along with a gt35r .. 400 to 500 whp in a sub 2,000 lb Lotus is pretty unnatural - it breaks the 5/1 lbs to hp barrier.

I can't even imagine how frightening that would be to drive! Sounds awesome!

But I'm already a member of the MR2 v6 engine stand club .. Wait - the running AWD club - that should cut down on the Scoobies.

Wow, Has the date even went into effect yet! MOA sounds fun though! And they got a huge parking area in front of the store across the street!
