Jackpot junkyard find!!!

That's right! U Pull in Rosemount just set down an 87 Red NA with sunroof 4 days ago!! It wasn't too molested until today. I snagged the front end parts I needed for under the bumper. There is still a bunch of good parts left on it. Front bumper with the 2 lower metal valances, headlights and motors, sunroof, seats, doors and door panels, tail lights (just no center section), fenders with next to no rust and a bunch of other things.

I looked at the body of this thing and wondered why someone didn't just sell it. It's in great condition with only 140,000 miles on it. Someone snagged the distributor off of the engine, but most everything else is still there. They also got the rear "Toyota" visor before I could get to it. Darn it!!!

So if you're looking for parts, get down there quick. I guarantee it will be stripped soon. There were a number of people eyeballing it up while I was working on it. Just thought I'd pass it along.

I was seriously considering asking them if they would sell me the whole thing until I saw that someone had busted out the center section in the back and then tore a hole in the back to get the trunk open. I hate when people do that!! Otherwise this would've been a great car to restore.

oh well. hopefully more of the parts will find their way back onto other cars.

Yeah, the driver's side fender is mint. I'll have to see if it's still down there this weekend.

That would be great if I could get a visor! Maybe we do a little swap, fender for visor or something.

That would be cool. except I'm not POSITIVE if I'll have it yet. My dad's friend has an SC AW11 lying in his yard with a bad body but good drivetrain. We might pick that up for a couple hundred and do a motor swap on mine. Then of course I'll drop the SC and drop in a turbo (once I get funds). or else I'll upgrade the SC12 to the SC14. But yeah, that car has the toyota visor in, what seems to be, mint condition (the car was covered in snow when we went to look at it), the interior was mint though.

you could just sell it to me, and i can sell u the visor at the same price.

How's the front bumper/airdam???

The bumper was in great condition and the air dam was a little broken up. I snagged the lowest 2 pieces out of it. I'm going out there this weekend to see what's left of it. I'll let you know if I can get it. Do you need the bumper support as well?

might as well, along with the driver side "eyelid" (little plastic piece that sits on the bumper between the bumper and headlight). make up a price, and I'll have my sister pay you.

actually you might as well grab both eyelids since you're grabbing the front bumper!

if this was east bethel I'd grab it myself, but I've never been to the rosemount location.

I think one of the eyelids is already gone. I'll see what's left on it when I go out there. I'm really gone try to get out there, but I may end up not being able to. I pulled my hamstring muscle pretty bad on wednesday playing broomball. It's starting to get better so it shouldn't cause a problem. I'll let you know what I find out.

The eyelids were gone. I got the bumper and fender along with the bumper support for you. Someone was there snagging the steering rack. The rear spoiler is gone and the engine lid is gone. The 2 metal pieces under the bumper had the bolts broken off in them from rust so I left them there.

Erick, are you coming to Prokart on the 28th? We could exchange then. Otherwise we'll have to figure out another time to do it. Let me know what works for you.

I'll have to see what it cost me. I'm sorry I haven't been around much. Lots of rallycross planning going on. I'll text you when I figure it out. Should be tomorrow.
