Southern Indiana Meet
I'm in the planning stages of a Southern Indiana 3 GEN MR2 Meet, possibly Saturday Aug. 14th or 28th...

US 50 West from Ryans to Brownstown/IN 135
135 South to Salem/IN 60
60 South/East to I 265(New Albany IN)
265 West to IN 62
62 West to IN 11
11 South thru Elizabeth to IN 337

Corydon/62 West to Leavenworth & Overlook Inn
LEG 2
62 West to Sulphur/IN 37
(we will probably be going South on IN 66 to Tell City, then North or maybe reverse back to Sulphur...not sure just yet...stay tuned)

64 East thru Marengo to IN 66
66 North to US 150
150 East to N. Becks Mill Road
N.BMRd North to Salem/135
135 North to 50
50 East to Brownstown/IN 39

The wife and I did a drive from I65 EXIT 50 to Leavenworth(IN) to check-out some of the roads we might take. If you get on Google Earth you can follow.
We took IN50 West to Brownstown, then IN135 South to Corydon. We took IN62 from Corydon to Leavenworth and got to see the Overlook Inn( The Overlook - Home ), which overlooks the Ohio River; very cool location.
Anyway, the roads are great but traffic was a problem, meaning IF it's bad the day of the meet, the drive will be somewhat leisurely, but still a fun drive.
More roads to drive soon...
By the way, I am leaning strongly on the 14th of August.

There seems to be some confusion with my "3 GEN"; this refers to 3 GENERATIONS of MR2's, NOT 3rd GEN/Spyder. This meet would be for MkI's, MkII's and Spyders(the only MR2 with a model name).
I hope this clears any confusion...

Another note; I've been slowed by a computer crash. I WILL have the route on Google Maps asap...
Also, I should have everything finalized next weekend. As I've posted, the date, lunch and dinner are finalized; Saturday, August 28th. Breakfast will now probably be "optional", so we can hit the road at 8AM. This will get us to lunch at The Overlook Inn earlier and allow us to add some really fine roads to the "after lunch leg". Dinner will be at Pines Restaurant

Ok, sorry for not being around for a while. My desk-top hd crashed and my lap-top is a pain for doing anything other than tuning my Spyder's engine.
I'm also possibly facing an outlay of $$$'s for engine repairs. My "fun funds" (p-t job that makes my car/ins/gas/etc payments) is limited and thus, 'til I do a leak-down test and get a more specific pic of the "problem" and the related repair cost(s), , I'm going to have to drop out of the meet and doing test drives until I have an idea of the cost of the fix. I should have a good idea after the l-d test Friday.
The route IS set and eating locations have been posted(although they can be changed), so the only thing needed to be set is where everyone meets for the start of the driving. I think you guys can get that finalized, so if it appears I'll be able to make the meet, I'll let you know as soon as I know...

No Skills
I have a MR2 in rebuild state. I would like to attend this event as a way to get with other MR2 MKII owners for a bit of tech talk and to see if I can see how the light buckets go back in the car. Dont laugh, I just cant figure out wh y the bump stops are way to high this not allowing the lights to come down flush. About 2 inches to high. I also have a completely dead fuse block that is next to the drivers side lower foot kick panel. No radio, no power windows locks, radio. heater blower, dash lights. All these items are on that fuse block and yes I have checked all fuses. I am an electrical engineer and even with the schematics this one is baffling me. Can my son and me attend and get a chance to get to know other nearby MKII owners and bug you all. I am located in Lexington, KY
