Sick mr-2 you have! the mods that's done on your mr2 were just exhaust and intake?

just those EMS powered header and exhaust? damn, mk2 mr-2 is a fast car! few weeks ago, an mk2 mr2 owner wanted to trade his mr2 for my mk1. i said no since i really liked how mine drives. but after seeing how fast and how awesome yours handles yesterday, i might wanna do the trade.

Yep that's all. The 5s may be a weak motor, but oh man is it still fun to drive!

dude, before i decided to buy my mk1 mr2, i've been debating to buy mk2 or mk1. i've been reading how mk2 mr2 would put you in awkward position and tend to oversteer alot. and the latest version of mr2 is an attempt to bring back the neutral feel of mk1.

but after the road trip, the way your car handles keeps playing in my head. it handles beautiful, it was like a go-cart when i saw it. and you didn't even change the stock suspension.

if i wanna trade to the guy's mk2 mr2, what should i look for? what's the usual issues with mk2 mr2? is oil leak a common issue?

Oh the car handles great and takes just about everything I throw at it. Don't don't get me wrong they do still have the bad snap oversteer. Just gotta be able to judge when she's had enough.

2nd bore has piston slap.. MASSIVE piston slap, haha. Right now, it's sitting.. But, with the tax returns, I'll be investing into a 3sgte, and hopefully get rid of my 20v silvertop. Any offers of help in person will NOT be refused! Haha.
