So there's a car for sale in Ann Arbor that I'm interested in.

I'm mostly interested in the shell, which is good because it DOES NOT HAVE A RUNNING ENGINE RIGHT NOW! I'd be dropping my own engine into it and parting out the current one.

Here are the things that I would want evaluated on it in order of importance:

1. Condition of the body... Especially the rocker panels and other common rust areas. Also checking the quality of any body work that may have been done (panel gap consistency etc). Would also request that it either be jacked up or at least get down to look underneath it and check for rust and other things like if the plastic underpanels are still there.

2. Condition of the interior.

3. Condition of the Engine/Body harness. Are the harnesses the original or at least meant for a 93 USDM Turbo? Have they been cut into/re-pinned?

4. Condition of the engine. Finding out or at least getting a good guess as to why it's not running. Is it mechanical? Was the guy just unable to get it wired up properly? This part isn't essential since I plan to just part it out anyways, but it would be nice to know if possible.

I live in Pittsburgh PA and the drive there and back would cost me at least $200.00 in gas alone.
