Allgnment trouble - Need Shop
I need to get an alignment on my Mk2 desperately. My car is like pigeontoed or something, my tread wears out on the outer edge and works its way in.
Problem is that my car is lowered like 1.7 inches and has a body kit that makes it lower. I cant get on the standard lift used for alignments. I'm willing to travel like an hr-2 hrs for a shop that can do the car as i wait, I will not leave it in any city or any place overnight. I live in Coatesville, PA (about 45 west of Philadelphia) if anyone can help please reply or shoot me a PM, thanks! |

I can't help specifically because i dont live in your area...but for sure you will have to find a shop that either specializes in alignments or does a lot of custom work...as even if it would fit on a lift most shops won't touch it just because it isnt stock and within spec which really sucks...but i would recommend googling or looking in the yellow pages for a custom shop...but yeah excessive toe in is definitly something that needs fixing

Angel, I know it sounds stupid but I've had really good luck with Sears alignments. MR2s can be quite challenging to align and I've never paid more than $60 for an alignment there.

lol i had the same problem dude i went to 8 shops couldnt find sh*t. But i did find one shop but it scratch the bottom of my bumper. What you got to do is find a shop that has a old alignment machine. basically the new ones are to high for your car or take your front bumper and skirts off lol
