Another 20V advantage seldom noted

After squirting the motor with a pressure washer, you get in and drive! I swear the stock 16V cam cover and spark plug valley cover are the poorest enginered pos ever. Just another reason I'm pleased with my swap. Bob ('85 since new)

Yeah, cleaning your 16v motor will usually require pulling sparkplugs.

And how else would you lube your spark plugs?

ya my 16v would get water in the sparkpulgs if it rained with the cover open lol. I discovered first hand how easy it is to get water in there when I washed my motor before going to the drag strip and taking a couple 18 sec passes.

Only had the problem once. Got rid of my valley cover, and never looked back. Lets me run better wires too. I just custom make mine now. MMmmm 10mm wires. The other thing that helps, and nobody does, is to completely fill that damn tube thing up with dielectric, and cover the plug too. Makes a good seal and usually gives you enough time for all the water to evaporate out.
