Ok people's, it is confirmed. Dyno day the 21st of this month. Bring whatcha gots, hehe. I was thinking about running my 2wd tacoma so I could compare how the stock high mileage 5vz does against my supercharged 5vz MR2, LOL.

On another note, Art is bringin down the Beat the Heat camaro tonight to run at PIR so we are going to go support him. Hope the rest of you can make it.

I'm ordering my new steel wheels this month, whoopy! Never seen an mr2 with wide steelies before, haha.

if you want to bring on by the shifter cabel next time you come by I'll shoot a couple of $$ your way.

to my understanding as far as the beat the heat thing goes we need to get jasons and pauls car out of the shop so we have some room to work on the car. realistically I'd think around november or so

zai http://mr2oc.com/showthread.php?t=211361 forget if these are fronts or not but it's worth looking into

also I saw this http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.ph...7&page=6&pp=15 maybe kelly is interested

Well, the 21st doesn't work so well for me. I'm going to be in Hood River for the Mt. Hood rally.

I know some rallys are difficult to attend with lowered vehicles. Is this going to be the case with this one? From what I saw, the main meet point is at the Hood River Fairgrounds, but its the 5 mile drive afterwards that sketches me out.

What time is the dyno event in Oregon City going to be going on too Zai?

Ok, once again:

21st, this saturday. The dyno event is going to be at:

14181 Fir Street, Oregon City, OR 97045

From what I've heard, there will be a variety of vehicles there. We start at 8 am and go till everyone has a chance to get on the dyno (hopefully, hehe.) Jay is bringin his BBQ so I think it's easiest if everyone brings a couple extra bucks and we pitch in for food. Wayne ( the owner ) is going to be bringing his ex-cup car, so if you've got a camera bring it! The dyno is just a 2wd set-up so sorry no 4wd/awd runs. Everyone that can make it is invited, but only those who have already let us know ahead of time are going to dyno. If there is a break and a free spot opens up then you can make a few runs. We're trying to not make this a rush affair with strangers lined up around the block to use the dyno. We will probably be doing this again, 2 times already, so if you dont get a chance this time dont worry.

Alrighty,...........just got back from the dyno day. Lots of fun, as usual.

I had a chance to run my truck. So as it stands:

5vz-fe: 150.88 hp and 182.05 ft lbs, rwhp
5vz-fe with 5 psi: 198.02 hp and 219.34 ft lbs. , rwhp

Now I have a baseline for the engine, granted its got 237K miles on it haha, and a baseline for the engine with the supercharger at 5 psi.
