1 foot long brass bar & mallet makes it a snap. Or you can use a huge standard screwdriver and whatever hammer you have lying around.

Hit the "grooves" on the axle parallel to the direction it protrudes from the differential. It should only take one hit with a deadblow or mallet - a couple of tries with a hammer.

alright. i'll definately admit this v6 swap came about a bit quicker than expected ( although zai told me the first time he saw the damn thing being towed in that i better start searching for one hahaha) so idk. if you guys wanna help me plan this out a little bit, or give me direction on where to really go with this i'd appreciate it. im scanning the forums as much as i can, but its so broad im slightly confused on what i have, what i need, and what i should try to do differently.

Zai might have a cheat sheet for you already.

Barring that get two complete wiring diagrams, body/dash/engine, one for each car.

Then start matching up circuits.

Hey Zai,

I'll be down again this weekend and will try to stop by again with those strut tower braces and sway bars for the MK1 you're working on.

Hey what's up guys
It's been a long time since I checked in and said hi
Sounds like lots is goin on. Good to see the workshop group is still goin strong.
I'm still in Colorado, still workin in composites and custom fabrication.
The SC has spent a good part of this time down but I got it back up and runnen better and badder than ever.
Stuffed it into a hillside about a year ago, took out two front tires a wheel and some suspension so I decided it was a good excuse to upgrade it all.
Ground control coilovers 200 frnt 250 rear, tokiko blues (for now, till I get rich lol) Poly bushings, tie rods and ball joints, 3" Hooker aero chamber muffler (More in preparation for the turbo conversion (Whenever that happens ha ha), Maxim Air wheels with Blizzack WS 60s
OMG Even with the Blizzacks on it handles frikken amazing. Can't wait to get some good Summer tires on it.

Cellphone pics all I have ATM unfortunatley.
Can't really see it too well but yes those are Mouabros stickers still on the side rear windows
I'll try n stop back in soon.
Zai How's the mkII comin?

I had a loose connection were the main power cable connects by the front trunk release, it's like 2 10mm nuts. generally this isnt a issue unless you've gone in their before but it's a easy one to check.

On a side note I think I'm going to be getting a new clutch/flywheel combo in a month or two once we finish the details on paying for it...should be a nice setup.

I just tried calling josh but for some reason the 503 area code doesnt work? anyways I guess I'll hear from him, I have a bunch of little crap I have to do today around the house but I'll try to see whats going on at the shop this week.
