Aww c'mon now Seth. It's not like we aren't rooting for you. I think an elise would be fun. Just not very practical unless you have another vehicle that you can use for the daily grind. Like how Leng wants a vette even though he's got two kids, hah.

actually I figured the elise would be the practical car and have the MR2 as the track slut down the road. For a bit their I thought maybe you guys thought I was a craig or something. I dont mind coming around to help but if their really isn't much to do I'd rather hang out with the fam and stuff, less commute.

Looks like I wont be around saturday (mandatory ot) but sunday I'll swing by.

Craig, now there's a name I haven't heard for awhile.

Not much really to do down at the shop, just putting a few things into boxes and wiping down grease stains, hah.

Crispy is talking bout moving back down to vancouver and commuting to work in tacoma.

Just rolled over 300,000 miles in my truck today. I've had the tacoma since it was new. Lots of miles there, lots of places traveled. I think I'm going to have to rebuild that engine soon.

I was contemplating a Jeep. A wrangler or sumthing. Just for fun.

Hey Zai, so I got the truck again... Will try and bring boxes down...

Got a question though, Do you have your shop heater still? I think my waterpump took a crap on me and my sentra is my only transportation to work right now... The truck is up for sale so no one can drive it...

You have too much time on your hands Seth, hah.

Hope everyone is keeping warm. The freezing weather is sure making work difficult.

So question for you guys and I am sure Zai you have answered this many times for me, but I am having a Brain Fart right now.

In the morning when I drive to work, I warm up my car for about 10-15mins before I leave. Now when I am driving, I get about 10mins away from home and I turn the heater on. It's like warm, but as I progressively drive it gets colder, and my temp gauge drops down normal operating temperature.

I thought it was a froze water pump that stmbled my car the other day, but it was actually a Cracked radiator from freezing. So I replaced the radiator and filled up all the fluid, but even before the crack it was acting this way already. Mornings are cold as hell and I wanna know what is causing this?

What could it possibly be?

I'll be down at the shop tonight. Have to check are a car out and do brakes on another.

My first guess would be to check and see if the cooling system is full. An air pocket will cause a similiar problem. A blown headgasket that is just starting may cause the same symptoms since air get's trapped in the heater core.

I will try and get down tonight... but today is my wifes last day of school for the semester... I'll see if I can the girls to watch my babies.

I hope its just an air pocket... and not a headgasket...

sounds like either a stuck open thermostat or low coolant.

head gasket would be worst case but i wouldnt rule it out pending an inspection.

yep just got back, fun but totally different feel from the MR2. The seats kill your ass, remember in grade school sitting on the floor for plays and the like. The wheel is the same size as your common go cart, the 6 speed is confusing when your used to 5 gears but you learn quick. People stare ALOT good thing I didnt get the green one. Just got back 30min ago so too dark for pictures, you'll see some soon.

I'd love to do pho but got to show it off to everyone at work and ban ramer and this kid I work with from getting rides because they think I should of got a NSX. We'll see how tomorrow goes, still got to register it and all that jazz so I'll try and get monday off work.

Zai you still want the datsun? Also leng if you can can you bring by the pressure washer some time, dont need it in the middle of winter but you know.
