I poked around and bought a Spec Stage 2 clutch and Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel. I own a black 94 with stock wheels, white Cobra though, haha.

Hey, hoped everyone had a good time at the dyno event. There was a nice variety of cars. Looks like everyone still has some more tuning to do but good numbers for what showed up.
Schwack: I am assuming yr talking bout the mount that goes from the left side of the trans clutch housing to the 4 bolt mount at the firewall. Those two bolts go through the clutch bracket assembley and bracket. Depending on how much of the bolt is left you are looking at : chisleing the piece and turning it out, drilling and extracting, or welding a nut onto the end to turn it out. Will prob most likely be looking at taping the hole to clean/straighten the threads. mk1matt: I'm gonna be outta town from friday till monday. That means no workshop this weekend. SE-RMR2: Yr bro already came by and picked up his helmet. Dave says you guys are slow, haha. |

Well, I managed to get it out with just a little pipe wrench, so big crisis averted. My friend John (Also posts here) basically spent most of the day fixing tons of little things that had been connected/bolted on improperly by my buddy. I guess thats what you get when you let a Ford mechanic work on a Toyota. It looks like one of the bolts on the motor mount up front was cross threaded but we didnt have time to see if a simple tap run through it would clear it out enough for a new bolt. Guess thats tomorrow.

Good job Schwack, just a little patience and some skill.
If i wasnt going out of town this weekend, I'd come join you guys down at PIR. It sounds like a lot of fun. Duncan came by last night and dropped off a used Banks turbo. I'm already thinkin of a use for it, hehehe. I posted up a new thread in this forum about the new regulations for Oregon DEQ. I hope you all take a moment and read it. There is more to it and i have all the information at the shop if anyone needs to know about other vehicles. |

well I ofically own my car now so looks like I cant park in handycap spaces any longer
jason's coilovers showed up today so I'll swing on by tomorrow to put those on if it's not too busy. other than that most of his parts should be in by this week.I figure once all his car stuff done and their is some free space at the shop I'll get back on my car if their is room, I'd like to do that motor mount for the car and also do the exhaust...other than that nothing too new. maybe we should do a end of the summer bbq in the next few weeks. |

yeah, end of summer get together sounds great.
I'd like to get started on the "Beat the Heat" project as soon as Dylan gets organised. I'd also like to get back to work on my car again. Jay bought a tubing bender to use on his race car. It's a pretty nice set-up. I'm hoping I can get him to bend some stuff for my car once he gets it assembled and working properly. Will be a lot cheaper than paying someone else to do it. Looking at finishing my cooling sys. mod and gettin the new wheels in a month or so. Then it's time to cut and paste on the car some more, LOL. |

Anybody interested in a wheel trade?
![]() If 17x9's with 275/40 Falken Azenis RT615's will fit onto an MR2's rear I have a set of Enkei RPF1's (14.9lbs a corner) wrapped in aforementioned tires. I was hoping that I could find someone to buy a set of four in a smaller size that would work for the front with the same tires etc then just swap two of mine for two of theirs. All this is dependent on whether or not the wheels will FIT onto an MR2 though. |

these right?
![]() I have 4 17x7.5 with a 48mm? offset. unfortunally I'm using 2 for me and 2 for my brothers RX-7 but I'd either buy all 4 if I can fit them in th back of the 2 or for sure at least 2 for my brothers car. What offset? http://mr2.gordaen.com/wt_calc.php let me know whats up, I think I'll be at the shop today, if you want to come by sometime this week let me know and we can work something out. I have a set of racing hart evos Cp-35's on mine I'm considering selling once I get a set of new wheels and tires. they are only 17x7's with a 40mm offset all the way around but look preaty decent http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...ZkMzF5NTQx.jpg |

Haha, I dont know if I want to part with all four. Especially if theyll fit in the back of the MR2. If you ever want to trade for your 7.5's let me know though
![]() I like the harts, but Id really rather not have to buy all new rubber, especially since these Falkens are kinda pricey. Oh yeah, offset is +35 Although, now that I look at it those 7.5's cant fit up front, can they? |

not without a 10-15mm spacer...eric has a set on his car as well and I think he's running the same deal on it with 17x7.5 with 225 or 215 in front and a 265? in the rear...looks slick. No I dont think I'll sell mine, I paied 700 shipped with 0 miles T1S's. http://www.edgeracing.com/wheels/enkei_wheel/ had the best price so far that I've seen.

15 x 10 steel rims for me, haha. Course i'm gettin used slicks for free that are 13 inches wide, LOL. I'm prob gonna get 15 x 8 for the front, looking for some used tires right now. I need to go talk to Cody to see if he can re-tread them for me in a softer asphalt compound. Not gonna be pretty, but I'm more concerned with puttin down big footprints than looking good.
