Anyone have any tips on removing the stock JDM EGT sensor? I've tried heating it up and using another wrench as leverage and it still won't budge. The threads look pretty rusted... Maybe I should just weld a new bung.

Hey Ben, are you using oxy/acety to heat it up? Stuff like that has to get pretty hot, cherry red. Otherwise you just have to break it off and extract it and then fix the hole. I'll be checking for 5sfe's, Charles needs one too.

Just got off the phone with my buddy will and he was saying that we can have his old 3sgte and turbo tranny for basically free, just have to pick it up. both would need a rebuild but they are all intact. You'd need a turbo wiring harness but it's something to consider. anyways I'll see you guys their today

Good work Conor, Leng better get his ass in gear if you guys are gonna grudge it out at Medford.
Slowly but surely Jeff, yr stuff is coming together. Thanks Leng, guess that means I'm gonna have to get your car going again, hah. Got Allen's intercooler in the car so we should be able to swap it off the rack. Fred got the zukini running again, we may head down to PIR tomorrow evening for a bit to see what it does. |
