Hey guys. Sorry I didn't get the shocks/Springs back this week, I haven't been able to drive out there. I've been busy getting ready for HIN, steph's car had cooling system issues I've been having to fix, and I'm trying to finish plans and make sure everything is in order for my wedding next week, among other things. This week has been slammed, so is next week, but I'll try to drop them by Monday or Tuesday night.

Yea well i would like to get them back before the weekend is over... considering I maybe getting my bar this weekend... I would like to install this weekend. So since you borrowed our stuff you should like return it when asked...asap...

Or you can go and pick it up from where it is and i will come pick them up... depending on how far you live...

So... anyways...

I was talking to my wife this morning, and she is try to lecture me into selling my car. Its the ( you're constantly working on it and never spend time at home s h i t, always needing to spend more money on it and its never gonna get done.)

All this happened, because i took a hard turn yesterday afternoon coming back from the park and had it completely pitched sideways, mind you I was in front of her car.... then after that great fun, my axle started to rub my subframe again. So when we got home she heard it banging away... and asked me what the hell that hitting noise was, and i said on I need more money and time at the shop to get my car solid mounted.

Well she said that she is tired of it and would rather have me get rid of it... and pay off her credit cards and move out... then start another project or trade her maxima in for a
s2000 for me... and she could just car pool with my sister to work and she can just MOB the CR-V around. an s2000 would be kinda kool and all... but i kinda am partial to my mr2 and would suck to have put all that work into her and just get rid of her... then it would just be like every other sentra i ever owned and just sold like it was a ravid animal or something.

I mean there isn't much left to do for my car to be perfectly daily driveable, and running great you know... This totally blows now that dyno is like 2 weeks away and my axle is rubbing... Zai, do you wanna help me out??? Please???

But I don't know what to do... I am torn and it sucks... If i did sell my car what kinda asking price should i be asking for??? or I could take trade and cash??? what do you guys think???

My buddy willy called me and wanted to set up time to take his 2 into the shop and have us do the final touches on it. My understanding is that it just needs some coolant lines hooked up, fluids and wire in his hydra nemesis. I'd think that we could knock the thing out in 3-4 days, it's a paying job not a 3-4 month endeavor.

I responded to your pm...and I was out of town when you posted this. I was in Seattle by noon friday for roll-in to HIN.


I picked them up from KO Thursday when I had time, but in no way had 1 hour for a drive to the shop group and back. I was @ KO all the Saturday of the meet until 10pm too, in case you and Seth came late. I know I said I'd get them back ASAP, and when I saw you @ the BBQ Friday you and seth said you'd be @ the dyno shootout Saturday, so I was @ KOtill 3:30am saturday with my car machining the glad nuts to fit and then putting my suspension on. It would have been nice to know you and Seth where blowing off the dyno shootout and bbq @ KO. I had them off in less than 24 hours and I stayed there until the late person left @ 10pm, in case you showed up. If you'd told me you and Seth where blowing the dyno off, I'd of met you and Seth wherever you 2 decided to go instead.

You have my number, call and tell me what time you, zai or seth will be there tomorrow, when you are leaving, etc. I can get it to Zai in Oregon City @ Estee's garage if he has room in the back seat of his truck for it. Call me, you have my number. Don't bother shooting me messages on here. I don't have a lot of time to check the forums, so this is an awful way to get a hold of me this week.

I didn't feel the need to start a new thread, to introduce myself..
But, hi, I'm CJ and live in Beaverton area. I recently turned 16 and got a red 91 n/a mr2 a week ago or so as my first car.
It's a very fun car, semi-easy to handle, aside from my gas pedal which I'm having a rough time getting used to.
I currently am unable to drive alone, so I won't be making any trips up to the shop to meet all of you, quite yet, but soon!
I have a..not hectic..but busy life, I guess..
My mom and stepdad are going through a very bad divorce currently.
I now live with my mom and 2 younger sisters.
One, being 3 years old, and the other being 10.
Now, what makes me so busy, is my moms work schedule..shes a night worker.
So she works during the night, sleeps during day, leaving me with my sisters ALOT of the time.
Which is ultimately leaving me as an unreliable employee to any normal job, being I am unable to work, even part time, because sometimes my mom gets called in..etc.
Which also leaves me..with no cashflow to get new parts/stuff for my car, and this being my first car..and a sexy one at that, I am very enthusiastic about getting stuff for it :P.
If anyone knows of a way I can earn some $$$ or maybe car parts, let me know!
If you have work that needs to be done, but you just don't feel like doing, let me know and if I am capable of doing it, we can work out a day(s) to where I can do whatever needs to be done.

Hope to meet you all soon, even though I'll probably be the youngest and most uneducated one in the bunch! :P

Also make sure your not a jerk off... slacker ... sorry if i am being rude, but i have had enough with certain people... i am just venting lol but welcome and you will learn alot here at the shop... been here since i was 16 and am 22 now... and **** i learned alot...

Also make sure that you read the very first page on this thread... it helps the newB's alot for the ones that actually read it and don't ask stupid questions.

And don't worry. I'm far from being a jerk..I'm really quite laid back and relaxed..very quiet.
So when I finally am able to make it up to the shop, don't get the wrong impression of me being quiet, I am somewhat shy to an extent. lol
Also, I won't be looking for handouts on anything, like drive up there and have something fixed, and then just dip and never come back. I'll definitely help where I can..(although at the moment I don't know where that could be haha.) but I'm sure in a couple months I'll know a bit more, so it'll work out..and then definitely learn alot from just hanging out.

you sure your 16? welcome to the forums, I'm sure sooner or later you'll swing on by the shop I'd say just call ahead to save a trip but generally zai's around.
