And don't worry. I'm far from being a jerk..I'm really quite laid back and relaxed..very quiet.
So when I finally am able to make it up to the shop, don't get the wrong impression of me being quiet, I am somewhat shy to an extent. lol
Also, I won't be looking for handouts on anything, like drive up there and have something fixed, and then just dip and never come back. I'll definitely help where I can..(although at the moment I don't know where that could be haha.) but I'm sure in a couple months I'll know a bit more, so it'll work out..and then definitely learn alot from just hanging out.
Lookin' forward to it!

Welcome to the board CJ.. The shop is a great place to hang out when you can.. I only make it on an occasional basis due to my crazy work schedule. Man an Mr2 for your first car, thats going to spoil you to where other cars just wont make the grade..Like going from dating Halle Berry to Roseanne Barr. If say you switch out to a Honda or Mitsubishi.

Leng any chance of getting the trany some time before next month? I'm getting way behind on bills and need to get my car sold... For that matter I no longer have a 95 I sold it to.. The guy made me an offer i couldn't refuse. the good news is I am back to work now so we'll be ok soon.

Thanks for the welcome guys!
I'll definitely call before I head up there, when I am able to..and,
I'll be sure to make use of the e-brake on hills, I don't intend on purposely coming across hills though. :P Not many places I go/will end up going have hills..but still not a bad skill to have being able to tackle hills with a stick, I'm sure.
Alsooo, yes, mr2 for first car, very awesome, was super excited to come across the deal i got on it!

I plan on getting some speakers within' the next couple days..since the stock ones were taken out and left out before I got the car..I intend to follow the sizes here:
http://www.mr2.com/forums/sound-off/...ness-p-ns.html

and not push the size too much.
I'm extremely tight on money, but have a bit left from when I sold off my MMOgame account, so don't have THAT much to spend, so after I find some decent speakers..how much is it for a car audio place to install them? I'm sure it depends on where I go, but like an average amount?
If it's to much..anyone have any hints on DIY installation of speakers..I imagine it can't be to horribly hard..but probably not a walk in the park for someone new to cars and their anatomy.

Sorry am I missing something here?
Does someone have something for sale?

Haha, well.
If you have something for sale, lets see/hear it .
I did plan on using stock stereo until I replaced speakers, rims/wheels, and possibly a paint job, but if there's something for sale..who knows.

(seth) yeah I have the left overs from my stereo stuff in a bucket here, some diamond audio 5 1/2 components with 3"? rear's pretty decent setup and lots of wire. Also I sort of have some 16" in a pinch but I'm not hurting for $$$ and their on my dads car. If you want to do the body kit thing I have that as well but I'm debating about keeping it or not, if not it's not cheap because it's all hard to get real stuff. swing on by one of these days if your interested

Just want to take a sec out to thank Zai for the help with my swap. I got the 1mz up and running man. wiring was really simple in retrospect. Thanks again, now I have to build the cooling system, exhaust, and brake lines and it is drivable. but it runs and revs nice, so thats a good start.

Don't rice your car out with painted stockies. The 91-92 stockies are garbage anyways.
