We're getting close--a little over a month. I have about 15 paid registrations. Awards are done. We are close to selecting a site for the car show. Registrations are due by June 27th.

**HOTEL REGISTRATIONS must be done within the next 12 days--our discount rate ends July 1st but could be extended IF rooms are still available. HOWEVER, the plan is to hold the BBQ in the courtyard on Friday but it makes it difficult to plan if no one has booked--PLEASE book if you plan on coming from out of the area (and let me know).

REGISTRATION FEE/DEADLINE: Registration is $10 plus $2.50 for each additional BBQ ticket. DEADLINE to register is Monday, June 7th. We need lead time to order awards, determine food needs and purchase raffle prizes.
After June 7th, registration will be $15 (plus $2.50 for each additional BBQ ticket). Full refunds are available until the end of June. From July 1st to July 15th we can offer a 50% refund. No refunds after July 15th.

**If you plan on staying at the Phoenix Inn, PLEASE make your reservations soon--we only have 10 rooms at the group rate. More will be made available but not until we book the first group of 10. Hi. I have at least 20 people or so who have indicated they plan on attending. I've talked to a number of MR2 owners here in Portland who will be going. I hope you'll consider coming--it's my plan and hope to make this an annual event. We have events in southern Oregon and up in the Puget Sound area but not here and I know we have quite a few owners around. Let me know if you have any questions.

I met a lot of nice MR owners this weekend at the BBQ in Troutdale and most said they plan on being at the event. If you're planning on attending the "Twos Cruise Portland" you need to register and send in your payment in the next 2 weeks--we're about 2 months away--it may seem like a ways off but in terms of planning and purchasing food, awards, making car signs, etc. it's not that far off. PLEASE send in your payment and if you're planning on staying at the Phoenix Inn--PLEASE PLEASE book your rooms.

Registration Update
We now have 11 paid registrations and rooms booked at the hotel. See the "sticky" for the updated list. If you are attending and have not registered, PLEASE do so this week--I will be ordering awards next week and will begin organizing food for the BBQ. The sooner you sign up, the better I can plan and make it a great event. Thanks.

The dates are July 25th-27th. See the "sticky" at the top of this forum for all the details. Hope you'll attend. I've got about 15 paid registrations now and expect more this coming week. You can register up until about a week before the show but that makes it harder to plan for car signs, food, etc. I would prefer people to sign up in the next 2 weeks.

Awards have been ordered--as mentioned in the sticky we will be giving plaques to the favorite MkI, MkII and Spyder as selected by the participants as well as a "Best of Show".
