20valve

is it possible to put a 20valve in sw20... can it be done and what do i need...

It can and has been done. The norwood mk2 20v actually holds the land speed record for 1.5L FI motors. Just over 200mph.

A 20v into a mk2 is not a practical swap. It may be a better head design than the 5sfe, but it also has 25% less displacement.

The best NA 4cyl motors for the mk2 are the 3sge's. 165hp for a gen2 3sge to 200hp for the beams. Cost wise, at this point you can buy a 180hp gen3 3sge as cheap or cheaper than you can buy a 20v. If you don't mind a more difficult swap (potentially a lot more), you can go with a v6.

If you're dead set on a mk2 20v, custom mounts are going to be your main problem.

i figured that i would have to make my own motor mounts but i didnt know if anybody else has done it... how much would a n/a 3sge cost for the whole swap... and where could u find it the cheapest...

Best thing is to try and find one locally. I don't see any on ebay currently, though they are common engines.
