Dyno Day - January 10, 2008 - Garage 808 in Eugene!

Ben Colley (bentheswift on the forums) has arranged a dyno day at Garage 808 in Eugene for Saturday, January 10th at 10:00 AM. James, the owner, has given us a group rate of $45 per car if we can bring a minimum of ten cars. If we have less than ten, it'll be more like $60 per car. Eight people have committed so far. At this point we have three MR2 owners signed up; Ben's smallport 4AGZE, Jared Morales and his SW20, and I'm going to buy an hour or so of tuning time so I can finally set my 7A-GE up properly. Ben's brother Max is bringing his RB20DET-powered Nissan 240SX, Tracy (my parts manager at Lithia Toyota) is showing up with his Magnum 360-powered '70 Challenger, and some other guys Ben knows from school are bringing a Mercedes 190E and two Celicas, both on MegaSquirt. It should be a fun mix of people and cars, but we'd like to see as many local/regional MR2 participation as possible.

This was Jared's idea and Ben has taken charge of organizing it. As Ben said, if you want to sign up, reply with your name and email address. DO NOT SIGN UP IF YOU DO NOT PLAN ON COMING. WE DO NOT GET THE $45/CAR RATE IF LESS THAN 10 CARS SHOW UP, so if you sign up and don't show up the rest of us will get screwed. I will add names to the list as we get more commitments.

Those who are confirmed for $45/car on the 10th of January:

4. Aaron W. (MS'ed 7A-GE MR2, +1hr tuning)

7. Tyler (MS'ed 22RE Celica)
8. Parts Manager Tracy ('70 Challenger)

We want to get as many MR2s involved as we can. I know there are more Eugene/Springfield people hiding out there, and a few more around Salem, Roseburg, Medford, and Bend. Hopefully the weather will hold and we'll get participation from all over the area. Come out and see what your car can do!

Canceled due to lack of response. Bummer. I'll be tuning my car there if he's still open, but I'm not much of a party on my own.

I'd give you company if I was closer to Eugene. I'm pretty boring though...lol.
