Oregon dyno day discussion

repost from mr2oc:

So, since our previous attempt at a Eugene dyno day utterly failed, let's get a discussion going for how we can actually make something happen.

Portland and Salem guys -- you got any dynos up there that you've been to? Anywhere that would give a group of us a few baseline runs for $50 or less?

What about interest in coming down to Eugene on a Saturday afternoon? If you missed the previous thread, the only dyno that we know of down here will give us a $45/car rate if we can come up with 10 or more people. But we could only dig up 8 last time and that was really scrounging.

I think that it would be REALLY cool to get a group dyno together within the couple of weeks immediately before Medford -- which is the end of May. Plenty of us will be heading down there and a batch of fresh dynos will be a great conversation starter (by "conversation starter" of course I mean "drag strip smack talk"). All-wheel-drive dyno would be a plus since I'll probably be bringing my all-trac to Medford (but by no means necessary, I'd bring the MR2 up for a 2wd dyno day too.)

I know at least three or four of us would be down for driving up to Salem or at least Portland. Somebody up there want to jump on this idea?

PM MR2greasemonkey about getting dyno time and setting up something, or PM KO and see if they set something up. I would be interested in some dyno time as would my buddy Ben.
