yeah it's always those guys who dont talk smack who you got to watch out for. Again to zai and chris thanks for the helping hand on the rear bar tonight, it seem to make the back end feel more stable. Now all it needs is new front end links and some decent height springs and possible upper strut mount as well as bushings and tie rods and it should be back in tip top shape.
Lights are just a one time deal after 4 sets and 4 years I'm done with them for now. It a interesting idea but in practical terms it sucks, too many issues and not enough plus's to make it worth doing...but for me I'm stuck with them. |

hey no worries it's not even my car, I just work on it. It seems to handel better with the rear bar but it's hard to tell because of the endlinks up front which clunk all the time. I'm thinking it's those more than the upper strut mounts just on the way it feels....anyways with that its a thing of if you fix one thing then you need to fix 2 other things in order for the whole thing to work. Maybe it's part VW or something

![]() ![]() ![]() a new youngin, 77 Celica GT, I have no clue what I am gonna do on it all yet but start tearing apart. So I have make a choice which might be a bad one, but gonna drop a v6 into the 96 celica, I am starting to read all v6 stickys and such and saving some money. I figure anyone can drop a 3s' but to have the only 94-99 body style with a v6. So any links would be apperacited. DTE |

Hey Zai, I was wondering if there is any time this week before friday that I might be able to get my car on the rack, and have you eye the front suspension... I think I might have some issues going on up front. I want to make sure it is ready for the Sunday meet and drive @ Jantzen Beach.
Thanks, Paul |

Hey Zai, my bro has about $4,000 cash and wants to do a ST215 Caldina 3SGTE. So the motor is going to cost about $1,600, and he wants to know when you are free to talk about it? Maybe next saturday or the next one? I will be going back down to cali to pic up some stuff and stopping in SAC to pick up motors, see if you guys need anything from www.venus-auto.com. So then i Guess the question is 91' All-Trac turbo w/ 00'-0?' ST215 3S-GTE with the complete harness and ECU, can it be done and what will you charge him?
Also my bro-in law wants you to do his timing belt, and basic tune up on his 89' SC MK1, he wants to know what he should do while doing a timing belt? Also they both have xash ready to go so when teh projects are almost complete and you got rack space my bro will pay big. Leng |

I thought you said it was slow zai, what gives
? ha ha just busting you balls. I thought you only drove toyotas with a truck bed to them![]() Ok I'll be nice....Last time I was over at the shop I had mentioned to zai that I would like to see him get the car going, those who hang out at the shop enough knows that zai does a lot of things for free...basically no money to go to the car fund is the effect. I had told him that for his birth day that I'd throw $100 his way but only if he spent it on his car. Between the countless times of using his shop and tools as well as his knowlege this was the very least I could do, you guys know that just about no other shop would do this. It would be a nice thing to do if others did this as well, do what you can afford. I forget what day it is but sometime in march? |
