Well thanks to every one that helped us get out the door and on the road especially Zai, Vince and Steve. Y'all are studs.
The MX3 was a sweet drive. Not one serious problem on the trip and that little car was a joy on the road. Of course I am wishing I had my MK1 now that there are all these little mountain roads within pissing distance of me. The MX3 did feel like it lost a little power. I am hoping it's just the spark plug gap or maybe an arking wire or something simple. Make sure Steve doesn't start taking our car apart, that's my DD ![]() |

So I ended up one of the Mk1's that have been on craigslist lately. Not sure how I like it yet, high milage hella vibration noise at normal crusing speeds.
As far as the website stuff, we do already have www.mouabros.com (which is up again) and it's hosted. Currently it's on somewhat of a low bandwith connection but I hope to have that fixed in the near future. If someone wants to give the site a face lift by all means go for, i just threw what i could up, I'm not a web designer i'm a network admin so pretty pictures isn't really my strong point. |

Hey, will some BBS look good on the 2? Cause i found a set that is a 16x8 and has a +42mm offset and he says that he has 235/60 on there right now cause they were on his honda oddssey. How wide of a tire can i go before it starts rubbing?

ok.. talked to a few pople tonight.. going to boost the 4agze block to about 25psi. with the Atlantic crank rods and some 8.5:1 forged pistons. been told I should get around 300-350bhp.. I think thats a bit high.. maybe more like 270-300bhp. will see.. ordering parks tonight for the suspention. will still need shocks... but the race swapmeet is sill comming. I need to drop the block off to Loyning to have it checked out for boaring and prep. need to get my flywheel and clutch to get it all balanced.

holly crap these 1st gens are half bad, the duce part deux is fun even with it's blown suspention is fun. I cant waint to see what it's like with it all redone.
leng I think about a 215/45 or 50 on a 17x7 40mm offset is about a big as you can go up front and something like a 245 45 or 50 in the back with a 40mm offset. check on the wheel and tire forum on the other board and el pallo? will let you know whats up. bbs's should look slick on them are they the usual mesh type? |
