Thanks Zai, Seth, and Leng for the help yesterday.

Didn't get jack crap done on the car today, was working on the house all day. I got the headliner out, and almost have the driver seat out. However, its not much of a seat anymore.... oh well it wasn't salvageable anyways. Once that seat is out I can really get down to business.

How did the races go last night? Hopefully the SRT didn't blow anything out the hood.... that could be linked to me!

I had a good time hanging out with you guys at the drags. I'm not good with names/board names but you know who you are . Unfortunately, after my 4th run (which sucked btw) my transmission started acting up. Zai you were talking about the input shaft bearing, how hard is that to change out? My car shakes like crazy now when I try to slip the clutch into first and reverse along with making a bunch of ticking/knocking noises. Looks like I'll be dropping my transmission in the near future.

Not too hard...
goto toyota
buy a mechanical speedometer sending unit for your tranny
Remove retainer screw (KEEP THIS AND THE RETAINER, VERY IMPORTANT TO REINSTALL THESE)
unscrew your current unit.
Install the new unit
Reinstall retainer
Screw in speedo-cable

You're done!

Hey Matt94mr2, we watched yr last run saturday. Sorry didnt catch you before you left. Not bad times though, you just need more practice and some better tires, haha.

MK1matt, think i've got an 87 igniter somewhere, maybe up in storage. Have to look for it though, not sure where it is.

Sethw, looking like we are gonna have to just move Pauls car off the rack since his rebuild is taking longer than expected. Soon as Leng's swap is runnin, hopefully by this weekend, you are up next. Start gathering yr parts.

Boost3d2: Take a look at my Member Garage to see all the parts that are sourced or already installed on my car. I am shooting for anything over 400hp on race gas, and 360-370 on pump with my TD06 after all said an done.

The remaining things I will be doing on my car this summer after the motor build in order to achieve that:

1. Installing an A/W intercooler with a frount mount heat exchanger
2. Installing a RMR Intake Manifold
3. Installing an AEM Standalone with 800 or 850cc injectors
4. Have my car tuned by John Reed at RRev Motorsports

I want to push the TD06 to the limit, as my project goals have been to make the most power and torque under the curve as possible. If i ever do get an inkling to switch turbos, I will probably go with a gt3082. ATS just did a race gas pull with a car built similarly to mine, and netted 562rwhp.

After that, i still have a body kit to install and paint at home. Border Front, Toms Sides w/ stepfins, Toms Rear, Bomex Type 1a Spoiler.

=)

Zai: It looks like i am working 12-9 on Saturday, so our plan to go down to Paolo's sounds like it will work out. I will bring cash for the gasket kit and hoses. I still need a few OE pieces though:

Water Pump
Oil Pump
Timing Belt
Odds and Ends
