If you guys ever need performance parts discounts let me know. I get discounts on everything with the following company. Some pretty rare stuff too!
http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main_page=index Actually in truth, for most Greddy and HKS stuff I can get roughly 20-25% off of list price, so let me know. |

hey, got to do some work on my car last night. Thanks Sethw for gettin the couplers for me. You guys have got to see my intake, it's either really engenious or really ghetto, LOL. I test mocked up the mufflers too. I'm using the one's Sethw got since they are too long for his application. They are race mufflers 2.5 inch inlet/outlet. Need to find some nice tips though. And maybe this week or next , finally, fab the rest of the exhaust. Got the radiator tabs made. Just need to fab the rest of the scoop, then i can drop the new radiator in. Soon as i get the plasma cutter back, i'm gonna hard mount my seat and build a harness bar. Lots to do, soo little time.

Is there anyway some one can sign me up on the list to get some work on my car. Right now its not idleing right it fluctuates about 900-1400 rpms, also need to diagnose my intake leak. So I can get a rough estimate on when I can get in there. Also I think I will be home this weekend Zai you still want all those spare 3S parts? I am going to try to be at the shop saturday reguardless. Hope all is well guys!

Uhhhggg.... there is too much bs on rx7club to sift through. There is a million and 1 people posting "will these 20's fit on my fd?" etc. I'll see if I can find a better place to look later on.
The harness is trashed as well as the ecu. Engine and tranny is still up for grabs as well as whatever parts under the hood are needed. I would pretty much bet that anything electrical is not gonna be worthwhile. The engine and tranny are still in the car at the moment as I don't have the means to pull it. Price, eh I'm not out to hose anyone so I'll have to investigate more on the ads on rx7club. I haven't really gotten that far, because I'm not sure when it can be pulled etc. |

Wheel info:
16x8 The bolt pattern is: 5x4.5" (114.3mm) 5spd 9965-28-060 50mm offset 14-17 lbs depending on who you ask. Most posts are selling wheels for 350-450. So, if someone from the group wanted them I'd sell for $300. As far as the engine there is so much variance in pricing on rx7club, still sifting through. |

Ok peeps, Jay's first race is this weekend out in St. Helens. Saturday evening. It would be a great oppurtunity to go see some "real" racing. I figured we'd meet at the shop and car pool out there. Figure take off around 3-4 ish and head back before 9. The race is scheduled to take place at 6. Depending on the weather. So if it rains this saturday we're probably not going. I would like everyone to be able to make it, sure would be a good time for everyone, so everyone should try and go so everyone will get to see what everyone else does for racing, heeh.
ZMR2: Dont have a speedo cable or e-brake cable. The good stuff generally get swiped around here pretty quick. Best bet is to get new parts instead of used parts. Chris: Plasma cutter is back at the shop. Josh: You walking to Medford? Paul: Need a list of OEM parts if you want me to order them. Do you want me to drop off the clutch, dampener and flywheel bolts at Paolo's or wait for you? Craig: Watcha got for spare parts? Findley: We doing yr clutch this week? Call me before the weekend so i can get your parts and schedule time. I've already figured doing it this week/weekend but if not let me know so we can move on to other projects. |

Hey Crew,
I know Jay has a race on Saturday, and I have one on Sunday! SCCA Rally-X @ Washington County Fairgrounds (behind the Red Lion on Cornell). I'm running the morning session at 9:30am First Car Out. You guys really should come if you can get up that early. The morning session is mostly fully prepped rally cars, including mine. I'm in the running for the reigonal open class 2wd championship in a prepped VW Rabbit/GTi mutant. Also, should you feel like competing, the prepared and stock classes run the afternoon session - be there by around noon to have your car tech'd. |

I'm good, I got some exhausts from exhaust specialties the other day and thats about all I need. If they have a badass soddering iron maybe we should get that. I was going to go over to sears after work but it being friday and nice out everyone gets dumber so I figured I'd just go home instead of makinga trek to the mall.

Damn! Nissan suck. Who the F@#k designed this crap anyways. Noooo, can't just put stuff out in the open like everyone else. Gotta hide the shiet under all sorts of stuff. Oh yeah, they let you see it, there it is that knock sensor which happens to be buried underneath the intake. You got a nice little 2 inch window down the back of the valley to see it, but can you get to it? NO, you gots to take the whole damned intake off. Who in H*!! puts short little hoses between their fuel rail and injectors? And you can't just pry the friggin hoses off without crackin them. Damned engineers are either underpaid, or they ran outta bananas. Even friggin fords or chevy's are easier to work around. No hiding this bracket under that bracket so you have to take shiet off just to get to the friggin bolt that you REALLY need to take off. And they don't just hide the stuff, NOooooo, they gots to put more stuff in the way. How do you get a 1 inch bolt out on the firewall side of the intake when the firewall is 2 inches away and they put a friggin 1 in heat hose right in front of the bolt! Oh yeah, sure, i suppose i could just LET THE CAR COOL OFF FOR HOURS and then try and get that stupid hose off just so i can take that friggin bolt out. Then there's that stupid weird *** plate the goes into the intake that gets sandwiched between the throttle body inlet and the throttle body. Like trying to bolt two pieces together isnt hard enough without puttin in a free hangin one in between? And then after you've laid across the friggin engine over an hour threading out bolts with fingertips you notice all that read paint, red paint, shiet that's not red paint. F@*k I'M BLEEDING, Damn Nissan. Yeah , there's a reason they are NISMO, cause they always NeedS MOre. Can't just put the damned thing back together and expect it to run right. NOoooo, it's just gotta develope a new problem. Is it the O-ring intake gasket that wouldn't stay in place till you shmooed it? Or air seeping past that friggin free hanging plate in between the throttle body and intake? Or is it something totally friggin unlrelated that just happened to take a crap when you were trying to wiggle the fuel rail out? Stupid Nissans, stupid nissan engineers, stupid Maxima's.
