thanks, I dont feel 25 but I guess I am.
the plan on the 1st gen is kyb's and whiteline springs and sway bars. I'm thinking of getting one of those prothane bushing kit's for the car cus all the rubber bits are trash. I think I'll hold off on the tranny thing this weekend, I should really do those lights. maybe no one should work on anything so that way I cant help out and I'll be forced to work on my stuff? ![]() Last edited by Seth W; 10-25-2005 at 01:22 PM.. |

On the Mr2NW mailing list this came through today:
from: halfbodyguy@hotmail.com 91T with a few mods (as some of you know). It needs a headgasket I believe. (still runs) and a couple other not as major things. I will sell it to the first taker for $1500 |

Alright, guess i should get crackin on trying to figure out how to boost yr 4a vince.
I think 235's are too wide for the front with that offset. Is it really Seth's B-day? Dang, guess we should pitch in and get him some headlights, haha. Winter is here, and the projects are starting to stack up. So i hope everyone can make time to pitch in so we can get everyone's cars done by spring. |

thanks I got my self some racing shoes for my b-day...other than the light thing I couldent think of anything else to get. I want to get back into the saltwater fish thing but thats crazy expensive. here are the shoes http://www.piloti.com/products/produ...rod_sku=PRO5-3 they look neat and their fire proof to boot.
yeah 235's are a little too wide for the front but just get some 205's or 215 to replace them with, that way when you burn through you set of rears you'll allready have a new set. I generally go through 2-3 sets of rears for every 1 set of fronts. That 91t would be interesting to take a look at but at 1500 though it's kind of sketchey, then again the duce part deux was $250. as long as it doesnt take a crap load to fix I'd get it |

Hey Seth I have 2 more trannies that need a rebuild... (lol)
Oh hey I was reading on Brad Bedell's site.. and it sounded as though the 91-92 E153 bell housing is different then the 93+ I'd suggest we call up glen and get a price on a 93+ bell housing (I am guessing ~250$) but you go from a 1/2 moon of bolts from engine->tranny to all of them I believe. I might make this upgrade on my 91 tranny. just to check it out. I mean as long as you are yanking your tranny out, I thought I would mention it as a possible upgrade. In other news, project "Whoop the Monkey Master's @$$": Starter installed Ignition switch wired (I think) (have the fire extinguisher ready!) Left to do: Gauge install Dash board Splice in rear harness MK1 Radiator filler. Radiator overflow catch can Dry Cell battery Battery plate/tie down Mount radiator Mount Radiator fan Wire in headlights (might just leave them permanently "up" for now) Weld in fuel cell Run Fuel lines Wire fuel puimp Fuel filter Wire in Sunroof controls Seal trunk Pin Trunk Pin Hood |

I'm also not in the area, but would love to come to the shop one day. It's very generous to offer pretty much everything you got to the community.
What a sincere way to welcome newcomers. This is definately a great way to make friends with the same passion! |
