Thanks everyone for the great day at the dyno! Hope it was as much fun for everyone else as me! Wayne( the owner ) and Tom ( the tech ) said you guys were an awesome group and they'd be glad to have you back anytime. The dyno-jet numbers i have right now ( rwhp/tq):
Zai: 198.02 hp/ 219.34 tq--supercharged 5vz , 5psi Lengs: 136.33hp/ 123.17 tq--stock sentra se-r Sr20-de Allen: 172.35 hp/ 230.77 tq--stock supra 7mgte, 6 psi Vince: 87.20 hp/ 87.71 tq--stock 4age We went through a bunch of cars, so i'll leave it up to everyone else to post up their numbers. I hope you guys got a chance to meet everyone else. I'm sure there will be more to talk about, haha. Took a bunch of pictures. Got to see some really great and some really ghetto cars, LOL. We should do this again once everyone gets a chance to work on their problem areas. |

I'd like to get my car streetable eventually. That way I could drive it out to events instead of trailering it. For now, just working on making it reliable and checking everything. I've gone through all the sensors, testing inputs and outputs. Mechanically the engine is superb. From the AF off of the dyno and the 4 gas analyser test, it looks like i'm running lean from the SC. I checked cylinder head temps and exhaust manifold temps. It doesnt look like i'm critical except under boost. The megasquirt has one VE map in it that Dylan and i estimated from stock 5vz data and a little number crunching. I just need to install the harness i made for it. I figure 325+ injectors or 425+ injectors will get me up past 350-400 hp respectively, with less than 20 psi boost. I'll need water injection and more tuning. Not really shooting to make outrageous numbers, judgeing by the dyno chart what i really need is another gear, haha.
Sorry you guys missed out on the event. I know there were a few of you that couldnt make it. Hopefully we will do this again soon, maybe towards the end of summer when everyone has had the chance to better their set-ups. |

good to hear you guys had a good time, I'm going shooting today with the family so I'll be on by tomorrow. besides your usually wrapping things up by the time I'm over their on sunday.
just for fun I e-mailed a guy in seattle about 2 datsun roadsters I think he wanted 3300 for both they looked nice. I know I'm all ready knee deep in my own project but for a future one down the road it might be a cool thing to do. |

We'll see how many bigblocks will "eat" me once this project is complete...
I've been trying to think of custom plates for my car once it is rollin' again. How bout these: REPLCMT ( for displacement) MRBOOST JUICED TWOMUCH 400CLUB (obviously only if) ELEVENS (a personal favorite.. and attainable at 350+! My car was trapping for mid high 12's before =) I Actually talked to Roy last Friday and he stated that he was shooting for the end of this week. GOOD GOOD NEWS. Once she is back in the game and broken in, I want to push that TD06 as hard as possible. If close to 400hp isn't good enough, Time for a GT3082 kit from ATS! Thanks for everything again, Zai. You friggin own. Last edited by Pentaxis; 06-12-2006 at 10:06 PM.. |

I can't help but represent local companies that have been good to me before, but Paul, have you contacted KO Racing? I'm pretty sure that Kris could get you a pretty good setup cheaper than ATS, and with local support, but then again, I dunno. Just throwing stuff out there. And I've been thinking about custom plates for the 4AGTE... just remember in OR you've got 6 char and a space or hyphen.
TURBO2 4AGTE MK1 TBO BOOSTD or TURBOD V8 ETER or V8 HAHA TBO MR2 or MR2 TBO VRM PSH |

We should have SethW's running by the end of the week, i got roped into puttin SethV's honda back together, and i'm gonna have to put some time in on the tune-up on James car, so it's gonna be a busy next couple of weeks. And on top of that, SethV is graduating this saturday and my sister is graduating sunday and next weekend my brother is gettin married, so i'm gonna be outta the loop for the next couple of weekends. So if anyone needs to get a hold of me, i'm prob only gonna be around week nights for at least the next two weeks.
As soon as i get the engine back from Paolo's i'll clear out the project corner for you Paul, and get yr build up started and organised. I've gotten most of the mess moved up to storage so there will be plenty of space for you. Sinester: U-pullit auto salvage, they have a yard over on 99-W. Prob the closest to you. Look them up in the phone book or online. Dylan: so what are we gonna do bout all these pictures i have, that we should post up? |

Zai stop double posting you are cluttering the crap out of the thread. HaHa. Looks like old bessy lou might be sold when I return home on thursday. I think an S2k is on the way. I will miss torque, but I guess when you want a honda the lug nuts require more torque then the engine makes. Something about 9 grand redline makes me randy baby. Maybe one day down the road when I am out of school, I will supercharge it...one day...one day. Congrats Zai on all the cool things going on with your family. What did your sis graduate with? (is that the one down here in corvallis). Tell your brother congrats on having one vagina for the rest of his life. Finally congrats to SethV for graduating also! 1 More final and I will be a junior in college wierd. Zai and SethW remember when I was just a younging with no knowledge....
Hope all is well. Craig |

Vince, here's your 4A flange:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Toyot...spagenameZWD1V Stainless is only $6 more, but even mild steel oughta be pretty good. I'd say build your mani with a T3 flange, then get a T25/T28 flange and make an adapter so you can make the change easily... or just build a T25 for now, then build a really nice T3 later on. Anyway, that flange should work great. And here's one for that T25: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/T25-T...spagenameZWDVW |

I think in about 1 to 2 weeks my new rims should be in so down the road if anyone is interested I'll be selling my old ones off. other than that nothing too new. I looked at toysport and I think I do have the 7lb pulley 2.6" lists out at 310 and 340 max power.
I dont think steve is on here but If I remeber I'll have to see if he's got that 6th injector kicking around cus 5 out of 6 wont do the trick. |

I am still registering my car in WA, so I get 7 characters to play with.. =)
When I originally purchased my TD06 Kit, I looked at a SB46 or SB50, but I went with the ATS TD06 because of the level of support, constant innovation, and original power goals. I also like the fit and finish of their product, and the fact that they continue to use newer technology turbos. The next turbo that I get for this car will be a fairly biggun, and the TD06 isn't too much smaller than the SB50 kit that KO has.. currently their largest offering. The spool times for the amount of horsepower that the GT series have been able to produce has been pretty spectacular as well. |
