Hey! Less video crack and more wrenching, sheesh.
We are planning to hit up the wrecking yard this saturday. Not sure what time but figure meeting up mid morning at the shop. I need more random nuts and bolts. Vince needs a steering rack. If there is anything interesting we'll scroungin around and brainstorm for mods, hehe. Lots of projects happening here at the shop right now. Lots of people pitching in too. Hope everyone gets a chance to meet everyone else. |

this place isnt too bad for car settings http://www.forzacentral.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=54 yesterday I played for 2 hours and didnt even do one race, that paint thing is really addicting.
yeah I think I need some things for the duce part deux as well. I dont know if jason got the rear tire rods from chuck or not but if not they are going to be a hell of a lot cheaper than from toyota. maybe I'll just do the lights vs the tranny then? I havent driven my car for what seems like 4 weeks now, I kind miss it ....still hopeing it's just the axel but time will tell. |

Hey everyone, planning to clean up the shop again sunday. Running outta storage space. I've been thinking, all these spare parts have to be good for sumthin, haha. So let's not let it go to waste. Been thinking about all the stuff in storage too. I think in the interst of conserveing valuable space, i'm gonna have to start giving away stuff to clean up. If there's anything anyone needs let me know. If not for free, a few buck will do ( so i can give mike gas money to haul the rest of it off, haha). Still have a lot of interior pieces, black and blue for MKII's. One complete set of MKII rear lights, pre 93. one turbo exaust with a bent tip. One NA exhaust that is in good conditon. Lots of wiring, haha. Lots of misc. pieces, like plastic under panels, brackets, junction boxes, headlights i think, etc. Misc. MKI parts too: headlights, trim, etc. Some 4age parts: intakes, exhausts, etc. Some decent seats, MKII. Too much crap to remember, LOL. Anyhow, i'm really not up for selling the stuff, I'd rather give it to the guys from the workshop group or their friends.

I need the entire black MK2 interior... with seats..
but we already discussed that! And I'll snake the MKII NA Exhaust... Of course I'll need to throw the blue interior away... and a MKII NA exhaust with a rattle... *lol*I'll pitch in $$$ for having stuff hauled off too as the stuff above is really the "good stuff"... hehe ![]() |

Well. . .
Zai and I finished the drivability issues on the hardtop 91 last night. It now pulls harder then my 95. . . No ABS. . . No Power options. . . running it through DEQ today so I will hopefully be legal by tonight when I drive down to the Master Monkey's. . . Going to strip the interior this weekend and convert it to as close to all black as I can get. . . and get rid of that DOG smell OMG. . . while I have the interior apart I am going to look at Leng's stereo job, and am considering replacing the wires/deck and installing an AMP. . . so that I might have some tunes while driving. Once I get the interior together for the 91 and some tunes in it. . .then I am back onto the Corolla! PS it will slide the backend side to side. . . 1/2 way down whitaker way in the wet. . . through 3rd gear. . . Damn crappy tires! Every time I shift I break the tires loose... ERK! |

Good day at the wrecking yard guys. Hope it wasnt too much work for you, haha. I picked up a good mess of nuts and bolts. Finally made it to the steel yard to pick up tubing for my front brace. The rack is still tied up with the sentra's so i'm working on the front brace instead of the underpanel for now. The initial design is looking good. I'm shooting to have it all tacked together tonight and then Vince wants to look it over before it all gets welded. Anyhow, i'll prob be in around noonish tomorrow as usual. Lots to get done!

good to hear it's done, man I thought staying up till 4am was bad, looks like you guys set the bar real high.
I tried calling a bunch on sunday but I guess thats why no one was around. jason was talking about going over their today so if he is remind him about my lights, I'd like to do some on them during the week at the other shop. chances are I'll see you guys next weekend. |
