Moving to Washington

I'm going to be PCSing to Ft Lewis (Tacoma area). Who's out that way that know what they are doing with a Gen 3?

Also looking to get plugged in with the local MR2 community.

You might want to hold off a bit, chief. It's snowing quite a bit right now. There are quite a few gen3 owners running around and more growing. If you're talking about a shop, I believe the closest is KO in Oregon. But there are other performance shops here in the area that should be capable of tuning/repairing a gen3. It's a pretty outdated engine with nothing special in this day in age. So you should be fine. Tacoma area has a lot of mr2 owners so that'll be exciting for ya. I'm a little up north and no longer own an mr2 but I might pick one up in the future.

yea there are a few of us around in the south end a more scattered up north, usually some get togethers around the time you will be headin up so let us know when u get here

hey there patch, im actually a soldier to. live in oly area, 10 min from ft lewis. though im not to familiar with the 3sgte, ive got a 5sfe and can possibly help with things if needed.

im down for that meet. i havnt been to an mr2 meet yet, im in the seattle area, but go to wwu, so im in bellingham most of the time. only a small few mr2 guys up here haha
