south eastern powder coating hobby...
Since I dont see a vendor that offers powder coating nor am I affiliated with my friends (really not a business) hobby I thought I'd give you guys an idea of what he can do and probably beat any price that real shops would charge!
I'm not a sponser nor am I making any money off posting this. My friend has built his own personal oven (huge) and has a sand blaster and powder coating gun as well. He tested it out on a pipe on my supra and it came out awesome, I think he might start doing some coating as a business later down the road... but right now he will do some coating here and there. Lets just say he will do it for half the price of these other shops as well.... I'm going to buy him some powder/paint, since he helped me out, if you are interested in getting your Valve cover done, or IC piping or any little (Aluminum/metal) part let me know. in some cases (if he has the paint) it could be a 1 day turn around, because he does this as a hobby so he's not backed up with tons of coatings to do. Here is what it looked like... ![]() And here it is along with a new blow off valve I have because I thought my seal was bad in the old one... ![]() I'm going to have the other intercooler piping done tonight as well. Please contact me if you would like anything done, maybe we could get you a quote of what the paint would cost to do your part, and as always we are just here to help people out.... Thanks, Jeff jefftbc@hotmail.com |

by the way, I had so much fun playing around with the powder coating thing at his house that I've invested some money in paint gun and booth now, so I can coat as well now. So let me know guys if you need a valve cover or anything else!
