AZ phoenix meet feeler

OK, been a while since i've been to a meet, and i know there are many mr2's in AZ, so... What's it looking like that we can throw a meet this month? who's down to go, and where would be a great place to have it, i have some suggestions but i want everyone to have a say. I'm thinking, tilted kilt, Heart attack grill, In and out, firebird raceway (taking turns hitting cones?).

May 2nd, who can come??

should be, weather out here is raining today, but usually in the 80-90's and it's an easy dry heat so not bad at all. I'm thinking some weekend this month cause may heats up pretty quick/high. I'd be nice to pop my t-tops and get some pics of us cruising around the phoenix area.

would you have a ride to the phoenix area? i'm waiting for more AZ peepz to chime in that they are willing to do a meet, that way i can send out a mass PM to all AZ peepz letting them know about the first of 2 summer time meets here.

what i would like to do is have a massive meet end of april begining of may time, i'll call it, the start of summer meet, then have one around aug called the end of summer meet. corny?

I'm down but need to find a resistor pack first to get it up and running. Can't do it next weekend as it's turkey season and I'll be at the north rim hunting. Haven't autox'd in months because the car has been down.

Checked Rockauto and no dice. Trying to find someone local that has one that I can try just to make sure that is the problem before I order one.

New turbo rocks. Spools the same as the CT27 but with more capacity and stays spinning longer. IC still working well. I now have 2 heat exchangers as when I just had the side mounted one, it was getting heat soaked at the track. Now I have another one mounted in front of the rad. and no more heat soak!

nice, you have to take me in a ride so i can see what a gt turbo feels like, i love my ct-27, and don't have the $$ just yet for a new turbo. So im just going to use the SMIC i have, and purchase a FPR before i get a tune next month and see if i get the 320-325bhp i want out of my mods. I gutted the car, removed the A/C system, and have a few more things to take out before i weigh it at the end of the month. if i can lose 250-300lbs from the stock weight, and keep my dash/head unit, door pannels, and small speakers, it would be nice.

i hope you didn't pay a lot for the head exchanger, i now work for a wholesale distributor in phoenix/chandler that sells radiators, condensors, IC's, and heat exchangers. so, the water gets cooled from front, then cooled in your original SM exchanger then into your IC?

Other way around. Through the smic first. I just went to a power FC, so it's going to need some tuning before I can push it too much.

I got it off eBay ant wasn't too expensive, but I'll keep you in mind in the future. Know of any rad shops that will clean a gas tank and not charge me an arm and a leg?

i know radiator shops that aren't expensive, but i dunno if they'd clean a tank. supposedly what my company sells is, Radiators, condensors, compressors, a/c kits, fuel tanks, fuel pumps, and oil pans. i'll see if there is a listing for a tank for you if you want, but i can't even get my hands on a radiator for the 2 and i've talked to 3 other distributors...

Most rad shop will. This is actually for my 73 Dodge Powerwagon (w100). I need the auxillary tanks cleaned.

2 about 20 x 17 x 12 in. each plus the fill spout on top. They're pretty small but kind of odd shaped to fit between the frame and body.

i'll ask my boss, he has 5 years of dealing with radiator shops, he might know a place that is cheap and good.

back to the meet, umm where is a good idea to meet up? lunch at a kick back place?
