You can get custom parts made if you want high compression pistons and such. Not terribly expensive compared to everything else. Sea2Sky Tuning (one of the sponsors) has cams and oversized valves. Check out Cosworth or Import Performance Parts - Import Performance Engine & Racing Parts for custom parts...and O.E.

It will all come down to who puts more money into their v6 mr2,but if you ask me which v6 i like?I would have to pick the 5vzfe w/trd supercharger, even though its a low revving engine (There's no replacement for displacement) my second choice would be a 3.3 liter 3mzfe.But one thing i would never go below a 3.0 liter on a v6 swap coz that's not to far away from my 2.2 na.

3vz. Nothing like a flat torque curve, Porsche-like rumble, anddddd the fact that it comes stock in a Camry.

Turbo 3vzfe built with all forged components... Least that's mine being built.. These things are push proven in a few truck races. 8+hrs at 600+. Mines at 400 should be pretty nice. Thx Shopee..

Not to mention high rev limit with that power to boot.. TY Turbo for keeping my power ever so flowing where it was only hardly lacking

with money of course, why not steal an SC from an evora? when you start building engines that mere redline the 3vz boast about is useless when you start replacing everything in the bottom end.

When you want to build stuff you want the best possible platform such as lighter block,
better head/port designs, removing traces of the 80s tech like distributors, and vtec is a plus yo

you dont. you buy a 3sgte and make numbers.

v6 swaps arent about hitting dyno numbers. they're about making really great cars to drive.

a ~260whp 2gr absolutely murders a 400whp 3sgte in terms of driving it.

However, it wont murder a 400whp turbo 3vzfe...
