1MZFE Swap - Alternator & A/C Comp.

Does anyone know if the Alternator and/or A/C Compressor from a 5SFE will fit on the 1MZFE? I called the junk yard to make sure everything will be ready for pick up tomorrow, and they are offering the A/C and Alt., for an extra $90. Not a bad deal - but do I need it?

you'll need the alt. , a/c is optional if you want to make it work.

Get them both. MR2 parts do not fit.

You can have an A/C shop combine Camry and MR2 compressor lines to fit the MR2 main lines if you want functional A/C

I think (i would have to check tommorrow) but the belts are different rib counts between the 1mz and 5sfe. The mr2 pulleys wont work.
