This is what I'll probably use. The bottom inlet is 3inch which goes into 2.5 inch outlets above and on the opposite side. Should be good for the MR2 and with a good small pre-resonator..should really sound awesome.

On another note: Has anyone used a Berk or KO exhaust on a V6??? I wish people would post more sound clips of what they are running. Descriptions kinda suck when you are talking about exhaust.

I can try to see, but don't know if I'll be able the details. If anybody's interested in an exhaust from LoveFab, I can see if my friend can work with LoveFab to design one up. It would probably be from the crossmember back since all my 2's are 3SGTE's and don't have a V6 (not yet, maybe in a couple years ). So wouldn't know how'd it'll sound.

It does sound somewhat similar to a stock nsx... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vt5uyvNoLWU

Revving at 9-10k, I'm sure the vz's will sound a whole lot better... can probably get some real f1 style sound going

I think this should be the unrealistic target sound:

I swear if I had that car... I'm sure I'd get charged for every single traffic violation possible on my first run, including several that don't even exist. I can only dream

Still though, I'm sure we can at least concoct something similar to that nsx, maybe even more racey considering the nsx is still stock minus dc headers, bolt on turbo and exhaust. If our 6's are gonna rev past 9-10k, they're going to be hella more built than that nsx. We need some itb's as well... fast revs,, yummy

Mmmmmmm.....nice.

Ok, for the LoveFab exhaust, I will help to get one made if anybody is serious in wanting one. As of now, I would not get one made cus I already have more exhaust then I have 2's and dont have any more space in my garage for more stuff. Also not even close to having a V6 yet (Anybody want to "give me a body and V6 motor ). If anybody is interested, PM me and we'll get something going. More then likely, It'll be an exhaust from the crossmember back. The B-pipe will be kinda premade/adjustable since there are different V6 setups. You'll just have to get part of it weilded together?

Oteck: I'll sell you my Greddy SP if you or anybody else can find me a set of the same looking tips. Or maybe something that looks better.

yeah, that sucks, can't help it since it was like that when I got it. Anybody know how to remove a dent from a double walled exhaust tip. It's a small dent, smaller then 1 inch, and there's no open space where I can get something between the walls to pop it back out. Any ideas? Don't want to drill a hole in there to pull it out, might mess up the tips .
Maybe I'll check with one of my sources to see if I can get a set of those tips custom made .

i currently have the old school blitz exhaust sitting on the floor waiting to get my car running before i take that exhaust to the muffler shop to get flange cut short to fit in stock location. its a dual muffler with big right exit tip.

2nd aftermarket exhaust i got right now also sitting is the HKS sport stock mounting style.

2 mufflers 2 tips.
most likely gonna sell this exhaust.

and 3rd.. im picking up a greddy SP exhaust this weekend hopefully. i had a SP when i bought the car but it was all dinged up and stuff already from previous owner

miss that exhaust..

ill try to get sound clips when i get the exhausts on.

this is gonna be all with 3 cats though... cali car

waiting to get b. bedell headers once available =)

I currently have a Magnaflow muffler on my car that I'll be reusing after some rehabilitation. It's been through a lot. Made the 5SFE sound good, so I'm pretty sure the 1MZ will sound better.

The design is very similar to the stock design, single entry, dual exit. It has a shorter muffler area so it's a lot louder. The 3 inch tips that were put on here look ghetto, so I'm gonna have a shop cut them off and install classier tips (something similar to the 350Z's). Bought the car like that.

I'm going to run semi-dual exhaust: each manifold will have its own separate pipe and will merge right before the muffler. The only thing I'm concerned about is the rear bank's pipe length. It'll be a lot shorter than the left bank's, which can affect torque output from the right bank. Equal length pipes is ideal, but the amount of bends the right bank's pipe would have to take to equal the length of the left bank would just kill performance. Any ideas?
