Do I need to Machine my Axles???

I'm doing a 3vz swap using an e153 transmission. I've been doing some reading and have seen that you need to machine the passenger side axle (drive shaft) for it to fit correctly in the 1mz swap. Do i need to machine the axle for my 3vz swap? Thanks

Put a 1/4" aluminum spacer behind the bearing. This moves the bearing towards the tranny, so the new slot is obviously 1/4" towards the tranny.

Any Tips on getting the axle and carrier bearing out of the mount? The one on the last turbo I dropped just slid out but the 3vz one is stuck in the mount (and the snap ring has been removed). Same with the turbo axles I just got for the swap. The carrier bearing is stuck in the mount .
