3VZFE for poor people
Right so I have no money to spare for really flash turbo builds and such which is why I fix things using paper clips and bubble gum. This build will be no different if I do go ahead with it.
So I'm looking for a couple of things, the first is redrilling/slotting the flywheel that is what I want to do it is cheaper and I like cheap and 3sge flywheels are $11 a pop at pick a part so cheap practice. Anyone have a link for that or just any tips for doing it? I found some threads but the pics and links are dead. I can do it with calipers and the milling bench myself if I have to just a guide is always nice to have. Also the end mount that needs fabbing to make it drop in is there a template for that? Because I want to make my own if I do the swap. I know 4v6 makes them but I'm looking to save cash and do it myself I have everything I need just not dimensions. I'll scratch fab it if i have to making engine mounts is nothing new to me but having a template saves a few hours and headaches. Just feeling around for info before I do this I've read the stickies etc etc but this is for the road not the track plus my mkII is going to be very clean when it's done. I want to be 328% sure I get it right ![]() |
