F/S: Uberstrong 5VZ-FE engine mount adapters
This adapter allows you to use the stock MR2 turbo or N/A passenger mount with the 5VZ-FE truck and SUV engine. This mount also works for Camrey applications aswell. It does work with the studs that come in the 5VZ-FE engine but I reccomend use of similar studs with more threads for adjustability in case you plan on running A/C.
With this mount you can bolt the engine directly into your car. No cutting or welding required. Direct bolt in $85 ![]() |

Do you have photos of it installed?
And when you say Camry applications.. is this a 3VZ Camry or a 1MZ? |

93smg, call me tonight and ill get you a tracking number.
The "camry application" would be for dropping a 5VZ-FE into a 4cyl camry ![]() |

3vz wouldn't need that, it's transverse unlike the 5vz, the desing looks the same for the mz's. how about the carrier bearing mount?

You dont need the adaper for the 3VZ-FE, only the 5VZ-FE and 1GR require the adapter mount.

I think Brad is still producing those for the MZ engines.

I have some pretty specific questions about how my 1mz-fe mount will be fabbed up (something about needing to pass a tech inspection for track use) and need to be able to discuss exactly what was done and why. Drop me a PM or email including some contact info and I'll try to call you next week. I will be out of town until Wednesday, but need to move fast after that - my 1mz swap has a date with a race track for June 17-18. If Brad can cover me I'll let you know that as well. |

Brad has been very busy with a couple of MAJOR projects. I usually chat online with him a few times a week. Its been a while since I have seen him online.
I have never heard of motor mounts that can't pass inspection at a track. Usually it's things like battery tie down harnesses fuel cells etc. I don't have access to an MZ engine to fab mounts with but I would be happy to talk you through the construction of one if you need help. Jim |

I'm not expecting a problem with the engine mounts, but a good inspector will ask about them once they spot the car is a swap. Knowing about how they were made should prevent any possible issues with a picky inspector. I will probably take you up on your offer - although the timing of my swap has changed slightly. I will be able to wait until after my next event. |
