WTT: MK2 Mr2 Turbo (Pa primarily, Md, Va)

Basically I would like to trade my 2001 Volkswagen Gti Vr6 for a mk2 turbo. I dont care what color. A little history for you, my dad used to have a 93 turbo when i was little. I loved that thing, thats what got me into cars. Once my parents split, he had to sell it although he only had a few mods done, such as hks exhaust, bov ( dont remember what kind ), hard charge piping, and of course a boost controller. it was a dd anywhere in the 18lbs to 25lbs range in the winter. haha he had a few points on his record.

but anyway, my gti is my first car and i do love it. the vr6 engine makes an incredible sound. rumbles like a 350z yet with a german roar.

I would like a flat trade or a trade plus cash on your end.
i cannot throw cash ontop.

currently it has

- 12v vr6 engine/ stock 5 speed trans
- 174hp/184ftlbs
- just over 102,xxx miles
- simple airbox delete with a k&n cone
- painted stock wheels. (rattle can painted for winter) i would sand them
down if need be
- muffler delete (as an experiment) just has straight piping welded to it.
sounds great to me, yes its loud. but not a ricey ****** loud. many
people like it ( still have the stock muffler too )
- New water pump at 100k
- Alum rad fans at 100k
- new thermostat at 100k
- new weather stripping
- next to perfect black leather interior
- stock 6 disk changer in hatch
- everything works!
- tires were replaces a little while before we bought it
There are a few scratches on it. but overall the paint looks great and cleans up nice. but this car will run for many many miles to come. The clutch and 5spd trans are still in great condition. The car has plenty of torque and takes off very quick. It eats the 1.8 turbo versions.
