lol i love how you have a super fuel efficiant lil guy and a monster of a suv. that thing would eat your civic just to drive a few miles hah. i love the pain on the civic. and don't knock the stock steelies brother, they are good for po people with no monies!

Never did I call you a ricer. Nor did I ever bash your Honda in specific. I just said, that generally, I hate Hondas. And I also said that I would rather have a T-boned MR2 than a honda, as long as said MR2 has 94+ tails and spoiler. The tail lights are worth more to me than the average Honda. Now, if I see a 50+ year old lady driving a civic to the grocery store or some place like that, I wouldn't care, because that's what they were made for. But what pisses me off is when I see some dumb **** kid in a civic or any car similar to a civic(sentra, altima, accord, camry, late 90's corolla, etc) driving down the street like he's the **** with his ****ty Front wheel drive, and ebay exhaust on his cut springs with F&F style vinyl, and a useless wing. Those are the people I laugh at.

Well you said you only bash on ricers yet you've been bashing on me for a while. Just seems that way I guess. As for the grocery getter comment. In the US they brought the civic over with a small, low hp, fuel efficient engine as it's primary purpose was pretty much to get groceries. Yes. But you're forgetting the fact that honda of japan offered civics in a SiR/Type R trim, with an engine that can rev to 9,000 rpm and handle like they're on rails. Just because they're only good for "getting groceries" in stock USDM form doesn't mean that it's a useless platform. I'm seeing more and more well built hondas lately and less rice. 90% of the honda community have the same opinion on big useless wings / bodykits fastened with wood screws / neon paintjobs and lame ass vinyls. Just because a majority of the ricers you see drive a certain type of car doesn't me you have to look down on all cars that are the same make. I think it's lame. You all can say that a FWD car is useless but I personally don't see anyone backing their statements up. Sure RWD is fun as hell but FWD has it's benefits.

Not going to be fuel efficient for very long. The steelies are gonna be gone. I finally got it registered today. After all the interior is swapped over it's wheels > suspension > bodywork/paint > turbo =)

see what david is forgeting, there are better enemies in the world. i have seen people trick out anything from ford tourus'(whats the plural for that one?) to bottom of the bottom saturns. imho, a car is a car. people spend far to much time on loyalty of all sorts. i am not really a toyota fan so much as i like 4runners and 2's. the prius is a pile of **** and i can't believe that toyota somehow sold this car off as green as they did.really all it does is spread the polution around and make people think that its green which imo is worse. long story short, no need to hate people based on what they drive. they obviously share a love for cars so there is no point to be ****s to people

the bashing was not cool.. idk where that came form when i came into this forum everyone was way more friendly than any other forum i have been on.. most forums ppl just hate on each other.. i've actually met a couple of guys that are on honda tech all i can say is that they were all di**s.. DSM guys stuck up for the most part, some of the 240 guys if your not driving a 240 GTFO, pretty stupid, we are all car enthusiasts and its always good to learn something new from each other but ehh
but ya chenney that hatch is really clean man i can see your not the typical honda owner... good luck on the EK build keep me posted if you dont mind..

Keepin the color. Getting the rust taken out, and repaint. My GF is going to be driving it half the time so the purple kinda fits. Not to mention I kinda like the color myself. In the process of doing a full interior swap. Spent the day at pick 'n' pull. Got a few things and reupholstered some parts. (I know pics suck, sorry)

Compare the color of the arm rest console to the color of the shifter console. Going from Type F (light gray) to Type K (Classy gray as honda calls it)
