WTB MKI near MD

Looking for an MK1 near MD preferably under 2000, willing to work on it, and put money into it. I'm a poor college student, and I've been into MR2s for a few years now, and am slowly trying to save up for one. Preferably looking for a beat up MR2 that runs. I am mechanically inclined so I can fix her up and give her the love she needs.

Matt,

I have an 86 that has a little rear end damage. It can be fixed but I am not wanting to spend the cash. I replaced alot of items on the car, see my ad in the cars for sale. I can send a picture if you want and I am in Jersey.
