WTT for your mr2 genII

I have a 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC. I want to trade my car for your mr2 genII. Depends on what kind it is (turbo/non-turbo) I will add money and depends on condition ect. If you are interested please email me at tylerdwinslow@yahoo.com. And I will send pictures if interested and give you further information about my car. And the car is located in Massachusetts.

lol, you're not gonna find very many people here that are into Lincolns. Perhaps you're better off just selling the Lincoln locally and finding a 2.

Can't blame you for trying. Somewhere, out there, there's an old guy with a pristine Turbo MR2 that just had a hip replacement. Here's hoping he has internet access.

Good luck. I'm sure you will find a nice MR2, even if you can't trade the Lincoln for it. Just don't be in a hurry.

I'm not gonna flame, but I will say you would have better luck selling local then trying to buy a 2...people on here are generally pretty attached to their 2. No reason why you can't try though, you might get lucky. My friend had an older one, maybe VII? It was pretty quick when he was done with it.

As for age, it varies greatly. Anyware from 15-65 I think. I'm 19. But what does age matter here?

But it isn't all about the speed, is it? Otherwise you wouldn't be shopping.

See my sig for cars for sale. You may want to place a Wanted To Buy / Wanted to Trade (wtb / wtt).

Also what is the value of your car worth and what year MR2 are you looking for?

"I will trade u my 93 mr2 plus 7k-9k cash "

You mean he will give you the cash, right?
Your car + 9k is worth like 6 of that car.

Anyway, Tyler, were not flaming you as if to say your car sucks... it's just very unlikely that someone who owns an MR2 turbo is looking to trade their two for a Lincoln.

And just for the record any year Turbodeuce would eat a Lincoln MkVIII alive.

I'm sorry but no a stock mr2 turbo will not eat an mark viii stock alive. lets see.

the first number is 0-60 time and the second number is quarter mile time.
Although the MR2 IS faster its not by much.

1993 Toyota MR2 Turbo 6.1 14.7
1994 Toyota MR2 6.2 14.8
1995 Toyota MR2 Turbo 6.2 14.8

1998 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC 7.0 15.3

Dude... At 60 miles per hour .08 second is quite a few cars.

You can do the math yourself. 1 mph equals roughly 1.467 feet per second.

It WOULD eat it alive. The quarter mile would look even less pretty for the Lincoln with such a speed difference.

Thats a pretty decent amount of space between the MR2s taillights and the Lincoln. I dont know about you, but if I was in a race and I beat someone by that margin, I would consider that a BEAT DOWN.

Not to go off tangent, but I just wasnt sure if you realize how much of a speed/distance difference those quarter mile times really are.

Good luck on your search. I agree with the others, youre better off selling your car and using that money to help you buy an MR2.
