WTB MR2 Turbo

Im selling my car next weekend hopefully and need a MR2 turbo around Charlotte, NC (SC, Lower virginia, eastern tennesee, and of course NC okay). Paint isnt a concern. Must be 5 speed, Turboed, No body complications, No damaged frames, Mileage isnt a big issue. NO BLOWN TURBOES!

Im not really picky, No mods necessary, I want it pretty much stock. Im going to widebody it, and probalby 3sgte it.

Ill have around 3500$ lmk

If you're buying a turbo MR2, there'll be no reason to "3sgte it."

In that price range, you're not going to get anything in that great of shape. I suggest if you're going widebody, buy a car that needs body work. Ex: dented fenders, etc.. That way you'll get a project car for cheaper, and be able to do all the work you want to do to it

That good advice, but it will be a month or three or more before I have the funds to afford the widebody. I was thinking of keeping the stock engine and turbo. But I am a big fan of the 3sgte, because in general its just a boss engine. ALthough I could always just completely build the stock engine. So as the guy above said. If there are a few minor dents, im down, it will give me some bodywork to do while I save up. Paint can be terrible, I dont care, its going to receive a nice primer.

I thought it was the Sw20, but perhaps I am mistaken. I had done quite a bit of research on these a while back, but it has been a long couple of months since then. I appologize, your the Mr2 guys so ill take your word on it. Thanks

no apologies needed. SW20 is just the chasis or body style.

SW20 - Chassis Style from 1990-1999
SW21 - Naturally Aspirated Version of SW20
SW22 - Turbocharged Version of SW20

3SGTE - Turbocharged engine in SW20
5SFE- Naturally Aspirated engine in SW20
3SGE - Naturally Aspirated engine in SW20

Would you be interested in a 91 Sunroof car ? It is an automatic but can EASILY be swapped to a 5spd if you want to throw a 3S into it . It has one small dent and my wife is the third owner. We will sale the car for what we have in it . It is perfect for modifications. My wife is thinking about selling it to purchase an older Lexus . You can view an image of it here...
