The typical Oregon weather produced on this Saturday event was shall we say damp followed by moments of sunshine. We arrived for the line-up at 7:30A.M. and observed the judges looking over the parade participants. Even though the club did not win an award several of the participants looked us over with interest as the setup continued. At 10:00A.M. sharp we began to roll. The Milwaukie Daze Parade route was lined with spectators and expectant children for the tossed candy. Oooh's and Aaah's plus "nice cars" were the comments heard as the club displayed our favorite vehicles. A thank you to Renee Meyer and Kim McGill for carrying our banner for the entire route. Plus, kudos go to Angie and Dave for the ability to put the T-tops back on as the rain returned without stopping along the parade route.
